  1. i think a 320 main sounds a little rich. i would try a 290-300. thats what i ran with your setup, before porting. also mine ran best with the stock pilot-25. needle in the middle.

    we will be heading out early... 4am on sat. from san jacinto, does anyone mind another motorhome in there group? we will be there around 7:15-7:30.

    I would like to meet you guys and go for a ride! my son and I will be camping at the washes, are we still meeting at the glamis store? we're up for what ever ride everybody decides on.

  7. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on removing the swingarm bolt ? I can get it to spin but can't get it out! I tried beating it out with a hammer, no go.

  9. iv'e had that happen several times, and it's always been the plugs.i pull the plugs and they look fine, but when i install new plugs the popping stops. it can also be a lean condition.
  10. my banshee runs great and seems to be jetted perfect, but this weekend at glamis going up olds it started cutting out and popping. i checked the plugs and they looked good but i changed them anyway. next run up the hill it ran perfect, and for the rest of the day. the next day it did the same thing, change the plugs, runs great. im wondering if it could be somthing in the ignition system?

  12. 1-1/2 quarts, and its not showing on the dip stick now. it was showing full when we filled it.
  13. my sons banshee was leaking oil, so we thought it was the side cover. we changed the gasket and put new oil in it, but next time he road it we noticed oil coming from the vent tube.thats probaly where it was leaking from the first time.what would cause this? thanks.
  14. this may sound stupid, but have you tried a new set of plugs? everytime i've had popping its been the plugs! unless your way lean, but it dosen't sound like it to me.i run a 330 main and i'm ported.
  15. i dont know what you can do legally, but stay away from the dealerships. if you cant do the repairs yourself theres a good shop up the road, hy-tech atv at the 10 and the yucaipa exit. see robert he is a good guy.
  16. when i did my daughters blaster i didn't, and it was fine.and no, they don't come with a battery.
  17. i found the problem, i took the flywheel off and found the key down on the bottom, it must of come off when i put the flywheel back on! i re-assembled everything and it runs great! thanks for the help.
  18. should you have to re-jet after installing +4 timing plate? seems to hesitate off idle and then runs fine from mid to full. also is it normal for the kickstarter to kick back a little with advanced timing?
  19. graphics won't stick after you apply plastic renew!!

  21. i have simuliar mods with coolhead and t5's,pod filters and i run 330 mains stock pilot and needle in middle position.
  22. heater hose from any auto parts store.
  23. ok i'll lower needle and see how that works,and then adjust air screws for best throttle response. thahks for your help!
