When I get around to building those, I plan on "finning" them. You can increase the surface area about 2x-3x or more if you do it right. LOL Besides, what could it hurt?

Trail and error is how I set mine. If I start getting motion sick, the compression is too soft, and if my kidneys ache its too stiff. I adjusted the rebound by how much "buck" I would get when I hit a bump. The shock needs to be able to put the wheels down in a hole or a rut, but not rebound so quick that when you hit a bump it tosses you over the handle bars.

I don't care what anyone tells you, NO COMPANY is so busy that you have to be on the phone for an hour on hold. IF they are in fact that busy, they have enough work to hire someone else to answer the phones. Everytime you get put on hold for more than a minute (most office phones have a ring back that re rings the front office so they can tell you to either hold on, or call back) hang up and call back until they get the point.

I ride only dunes, but I did notice once on an unhelmeted trip to the shitters that the sand really flipped up in my face. I'd assume anything else you ride in would do the same. When my sister had a Blaster she had the fenders hacked off. I took it for a ride through her yard and through the biggest nugget of dog shit I'd ever seen. I just parked it right there.

I have a little lower gearing than most, so I burn though a tank in about an hour and 15 of riding. Taking breaks n shit like we do its almost a 2 hour ride.

Mine has a black knob at the top, and then an almost impossible to reach without burning your self on either the silencers or the brake rotor type "knob" on the bottom. More like a collar than a knob.

Mine is nearly identical to that. Silver HJC but its a 99 model year. On fitment, thats 100%!! Don't get it loose. But make sure that the front of the helmet is below your chin. It will save you from thousands in dental bills if you ever end up hitting the handle bars. It saved me the first 3 times out on my banshee. Didn't hit hard, but hard enough for me to realize that my helmet just saved my teeth.

I manufacture these carriers and swingarms, so yes, its in good unused condition. Its bare...no chrome on it. Its a round tubing, round house style carrier. Its gusseted and has skid plate mounts, perfect for MX. PM me if you're interested.

Adjust the jounce. If it rebounds too quickly turn the dial on the bottom of the shock. I think the total number of "clicks" is 30. I keep mine at around 12 from the softest setting. Same on the compression side (knob at the top)

First off good idea on changing your name. Whether or not she knows its you, its all speculation if this post some how enters into the hands of someones slick assed attorney. I'm not a lawyer, but I've been on the brink, and we were able to work our problems out, but not without going through a ton of shit first. AND I have 2 sisters both of which have been divorced, and I have friends that have been divorced. This is just kind of a culmination of what I would think of doing if I were in your shoes. First thing I would do, is evaluate everything you have, that you intend on keeping. If there is something that you happen to have bought with your own money, i.e. not with a check or cash from a joint account, it is yours. You'll need proof of this, so a cancelled check or cashiers check or credit card statement would come in handy. Also it might help if you can prove she has no interest in it cash, or personal. If you do sell anything to a friend, be prepared to split that cash with your ex wife. If she has filed, and then you sell something after the fact, that will be brought up, and you might be liable to split any earnings from the sale(s) Also, if you sell it to a buddy, you might want to think about selling if for more than a dollar unless you can prove its a steaming hunk of shit. NADA tracks the value of atv's and trailers. She would be able to prove it was worth more than what you sold it for. Might get you in a heap of shit. If neither of you have filed, then by all means, I would sell sell sell! Make sure you trust the person you are selling to, and be sure to get a bill of sale for your buddy, and a receipt. The pearl necklace you got her for her birthday might offset a part of your banshee or trailer if the money came from a joint account. If she wants the ceramic knick knacks, be sure to value them and write it down. He could never provide proof of one single thing he said my sister took. It amounted to nearly $5000.00 that he claimed. The judge was no impressed. If you do end up in court, do not show emotion. Judges don't care about emotion, they care about facts. I know a judge, and I've heard it from him first hand, and seen it first hand in his court. Emotion will get you no where and get you nothing except a fine and or jail time. Don't refer to her as a bitch, whore, slut, etc.... refer to her with her first name in a respectful manner. Above all, just remain in control, and remember you are there to state facts, not how you feel. Think things through, and use your head. Thats what I've found. The only time it cost more was shipping to Canada. But I've shipped to 24 different states and Canada, and the price is based on size and weight of the package mostly until it leaves the country.

This might sound a bit biased, but I haven't had a problem with my carriers slipping in my swingarms at all. 2 pinch bolts, and I just tighten them as tight as I can get. I dont use a torque wrench. Just an allen and a cresent.
