I've only ever had one person say anything negative to me, and it was over the phone...... Lets flash back to 1998..... I'm on the phone with Maier I think it is.....Ordering some black plastics for my bike. The guy on the phone says..:Banshee eh..You must ride the dunes being in Utah." I say "Yep. Best times I've ever had" and he says..."Thats such a waste. You'll ruin that bike in the sand." and then I say "Well, I hate trails, theyre way more dangerous due to the mountainous terrain, the cliffs and the morons all trying to race each other up a 15 foot wide road." Then he says something like "Well, I have a Blaster....." And I quickly said "Oh, my buddies 95lb wife has one of those." HA little bitch.

Oh man, I know the feeling. 289838 I start squeeling my tires when I'm about to go buy some new ones. Lately I've been able to light them up for a good 20+ feet or so. Not often though because I don't actually have the new tires yet. In fact I don't even have the money for the tires yet. I'm just kind of counting on having the money when I need the tires. hehe. 289947 I've never even driven anything that was capable of squeling the tires up unti the Excursion. I love what almost 10,000lbs of truck can do with enough boost. 290385 I've yet to experience anything with boost....hehe....not yet..... I did get the new tires today. My xmas bonus from the shop. Didn't see that one coming. Now I wish I would have power braked the hell out of it last week.

You need to get over there and explain to her that some of that weird shit happening, like her beer sliding across the table n shit is because there's a tire flat on one side of her house.

OMFG I'm going to start thinking up stupid shit to scam...er...sell people on eBay. I'm going to talk into a mason jar, and its going to be the best money making idea in the world. Then I will quickly seal the jar and auction it off. Its up to the buy to figure out how to get the idea out. Reserve will be set at around $100,000. Afterall, I'm selling the rights to my money making idea....got to get paid.

I agree. Here's why. If you are over paddled you WILL stall or bog or what ever you want to call it. Me and a few others from here saw a VERY FAST 250R at Dumont this March that had paddles that were damned near smooth. I want to say his name was Harold....I can't remember. All I know is I asked him about his nearly bald paddles, and how he kept up with Banshee370's bike... He said with a taller hauler he'd bog down, so he went with a smaller paddle that allowed him to spin like a mother fucker. Not in every situation would this work. I think in 95% of the bikes out there its easier to just put them on the right way and if you are over paddled i.e. too much traction, either get tires with smaller or fewer paddles, air them up to reduce the "sand time area"...the amount of time the paddle is in the sand; gear down, or do some engine work. I know Harold paid more for his paddles that I did. So in my situation if I was biting too much I'd just gear it down a tooth.

Wal Mart is a double edged sword. On one hand, they sell just about everything I need at a way lower price than anywhere else. I don't always go there because of the screaming fatherless children that infest that place...the atmosphere in that place drives me nuts. But, alot of people need that break in price. Quite a few people are employed by Walmart as well. They don't pay worth shit, but its still a job for alot of people. On the other hand, it is doing an injustice to alot of mom and pop stores. Utahs oldest clothing store closed last week because of walmart. The business itself has been around for nearly 125 years. There is an interchange being built ACROSS the street from my parents house. They mowed down 5 houses, and are "displacing" 10 businesses for this interchange to get people to the Wal Mart a little easier. Around $50 million for the interchange. Not to mention my dad built the house he's living in with his father when he was about 16. He was one of the first residence of that town. City meetings don't mean shit when the mayor has bought alot of empty fields next to the proposed interchange. Looks like Mr. Mayor is planning on selling the land to a couple of truck stops and making some serious cash on the deal. Everyone is against it except the city planner, the mayor, and a few other people that work for the city. I know it will be put in. Its just a matter of when. All because of our Wal Mart. All in all, I try to spread it around. I won't shop exclusively at WalMart, and most of my groceries come from WalMart, but anything else I get at other stores.

LMFAO I heard about the story, but didn't know all the details.

To be quite honest, I think its a great idea! Being the Xmas season I have 38 cents in my pocket, but come Jan I'm sure I'll be able to find $30 for the membership.

Man I hope they catch who ever did that. Last thing we need is domestic terrorists on the loose.

I've never been. Azsandrat, Gary from Quicksand, said he was planning on going there and wanted to meet up, but I haven't heard from him in like 6 months. I know someone thats been there, and they said they are decent. I think they might be a bit small, but riding is riding, and as long as its sand, I don't care.

Hope your friends pull through. On a side note, I could use one of those thingamajiggers in my brain to let the excess pressure out every now and again. I really don't want to start drinking again.

SHIT! I got this saturday, and got sick sunday. So far I haven't unlocked a whole lot, but modifying cars kicks ass. So does running around shooting people for the sake of upping my uzi skillz. My only complaint about this game is what some others have said is the Blurry-Vision

I prefer the TIG method. I have all my welding done by a Utah State Certified Welder. The guy has over 30 years of experience. Personally, I wouldn't trust any one else. Pre heating is required for good penetration with some welds. I wouldn't think you'd need to preheat something as thin as the material we use, but then again, I'm not much of a welder. I know welding cast you need to follow a preheat and cool method, and on some thicker materials you have to preheat to 400 or so.

Holy shit. I just fell out of my chair and had a seizure. -
Not too bad, but I wonder about eBay listings IN ALL CAPS! It reads the same with normal punctuation and grammer doesn't it???... Is there a website that will translate from ALL CAPS to normal??

I think my price on a +4 is a little better than Tuckers. If Im not mistaken Tucker and me both use the 1 3/8" round chromo rather than the 1 x 2 square tubing.

WOW! I'm no expert, but you guys nailed it. Plus, I'm not a fan of sectioning something in the middle like that. Its better to extend it from one end, such as......from the shock linkage mount....derrrrrr. Oh well..
-
Eh, if you can, mount them to the uppers. You don't want them snagging or being hit by anything..... safest place is the upper a-arm on the rear.
