Best Quad for 2year old
Cotton eyed Joe replied to CombatTalon2's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I had the same one I'd bet. Blue, 1984 or so. I started on it when I was 9. We had a 200cc MOTO4 also. No suspension. The fucker was a tank. I hit a mound of snow with it one time out when I was about 16. Didn't know it wasn't a mound of snow but a mound of dirt covered by about 1/2" of snow. Sent me straight f**kin up. I though I broke my back when the seat hit me. -
What he said. Plus it will give you valuable skills in working on your own stuff, which is MUCH cheaper than having someone else do it. Not only that, but you won't be dependant on someone else to do your wrenching. The bad part is it takes a bit longer because you have other shit to attend to rather than wrenching on the bike. Shit...I haven't ever tore my engine apart. Never needed to. But the day it goes, I'm scattering the WHOLE thing. I'm going to lay out each individual part, and look at it in amazement. Then about the time I start thinking "What the fyck did I just do?" start putting it back together again with the Clymers manual and my torque wrench on the bench. I've even contemplated buying a junker engine so I'll have something to practice on.

Do you mean the exhaust springs or an actual mount?? If you need a mount I'm sure you could use something like 1/8" plate with a hole drilled in it.

HA! Can't go wrong with a fat chick metaphor.

Thats pretty good. My wife used to have a banshee, and she grew up on a race track (her dad has a S/E rail) so she was quite a natural at it once she got the clutch thing down. The first time out on my banshee she rode on the back and she LOVED it. Then I let her drive. It was her first time on a 2 stroke, and the first time on a 4 wheeler in about 10 years. We hit 6th gear so fucken quick it scared me. Then I tore it down. The next time we went riding was the next summer at the dunes. She had a bike of her own right after that. She had to sell it so we could put her through college, and she will be getting her masters here in about a year, so if there are any left she says she wants one. I'm trying to get her to go buy one now.

Bought some little stuff from him, he sent the parts before I sent the $$$. (Which you should have got today or will get it tomorrow) Thanks Brenden!

LMFAO He needs to take that shit to Atlantic City or something. Get a booking at the Trump Taj Mahal or some shit like that. LOL SinBad would open for HIM!

They just piss you off in the long run. They are connected to the TORS, so when you leave your parking brake on and try to take off, it limits the RPM. The parking brake AND that switch are both worthless pieces of shit.

After I ported, not only was I faster, but my bike sucks gas down like its free. Went up about 2-3 jet sizes. When I went to dumont it went up 10! Running a 410 main. Almost one tank of gas per ride. A stock banshee would give you much better mileage, but it kinda sucks ass. Its like dating a fat girl because her standards and expectations are lower, so you won't have to take her out all the time, and she's happy with going to a buffet every now and again, and it will save you some cash. But if you're going to date a really really hot woman, you better be able to pay for it if you're going to ride her hard.

Took the words right outta my mouth. My dad says that all the damn time.

Do you need it in French? -
I thought about making a -12 swingarm for the ultimate trail bike. Put the rear wheels in front of the front wheels. I bet it would corner like a motherflower.

Nice to see you got your old screen name back.

I completely forgot to copyright those drawings so I could charge for them later. Eh, just make sure those cross members are nailed together nice and solid. My new design has a pneumatic ram attatched to the bottom side of the ramp. As you get near the top end of the ramp, it actuates and slams the ramp with about 3000lb*ft of force to give you more hang time...up to 35 seconds. -
Paging SDD - or anyone else that's converted to DC

what should i do to the nipples on my carb?
Cotton eyed Joe replied to BURKE_DADDY's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
First thing I thought of when I saw the title of the thread was "pinch them". Maybe put clothes pins on them. Or alligator clips. And then smack them off with a belt. -

That was my ramp design. Its on my other lap top that decided to stop working. I'll see if I can't come up with another sick design tomorrow at work. -
I know a few people that donate cash to give themselves a warm fuzzy feeling....down near the cockles of their hearts....and then I say "I won't donate money to someone begging on the side of the road, in front of a store etc" I get looked at as if I'm some huge walking steaming asshole spewing forth a retched life sucking stench..... f**k it. I earn mine. I want to earn more. Wealthy people aren't wealthy because they are lucky. Its because they are hard working, and wise with their money and time. I hope to one day declare myself wealthy, and only by the fact that I've earned it, not by the fact that someone has given me anything for nothing. My wife has a friend that brags about living in scotland, visiting mexico, italy, germany etc.... This lazy bitch hasn't had a steady job EVER! She's 25 years old and has an 8th grade education....how is it she's been able to travel all over the world and become this wonderful socialite? Her f**kin husband was stupid enough to marry her, and cart her fat ass all over the place because he's the one with the money the brains and the job. I do help out those that need it, but the way it works out is I help those that can help themselves. If they are willing to meet half way and help THEMSELVES out as well then I'm there. Anyone thats ever expected me to just come and do something, or give them something gratis has never been a friend, or anyone that I'd want to be remotely associated with.
