  1. Travis, go to the RMATV website and look up the part number you need. They should have the part number for the corresponding pod filter outerwear listed with it. Thats the way it was when I ordered the pods for my CBRF4i. Or click http://www.unifilter.com/onlinecatalog.html and download their PDF file.
  2. I'd like to double check that math, both with the bathtub and without.
  3. WD-40 works as a good "releasing" agent. Just be sure to rinse it off well afterwards.
  4. I did the "buy two boxes of chain" thing too. Mostly I wanted the extra links incase I needed a bigger sprocket in the rear. Then I could just buy another master link and put in what I need.
  5. By "run better" what do you mean exactly? I wouldn't put anything in my trasmission except oil.
  6. By alloy I'm assuming you mean aluminum. They're typically heat treated 7075. Aluminum will always wear faster than steel. The 7075 is used for strength not necessarily wearability. But, if you keep your chain clean, don't use WD40 on it because that will attract dirt which will only accelerate the wear on your sprockets, an aluminum sprocket will last a while.
  7. 32mm or 1.25984"
  8. I was sort of thinking the same thing....could have been an honest mistake....but you never know.
  9. Being a cop would be a hard job. Think about all the assholes that guy had dealt with just that day. Now what if that was your full time job, dealing with 80% assholes that didn't like you because of your occupation, 15% women that don't know how to drive and start crying the second they get pulled over and the other 5% dealing with piss drunk vagrants. I've had a few run-ins with the locals over the years, most were okay, one was a real cockmaster, and one was a pretty decent guy to bs with. Yeah. BS. The guy pulls me over at 2am because I was the only car on the road at the time, and we end up talking about my car for 20 minutes. About 10 years ago I used to lift at a small gym owned by a friend of the family, and there was a lot of cops that lifted there. I would say most of them were different people when not on duty. I'd talk all night to a group of them while I worked out, then I'd see them the next day at a gas station while they were on duty, and they wouldn't say shit to me. Wouldn't even give me a nod or anything. One of them ended up shaking down me and a bunch of my friends in front of a restaurant one morning while we were waiting for it to open. I was at the gym with the fucker not a day earlier. But I realized it was his job. It was early, and there were 10 kids hanging around a parking lot. Big deal. None of us had anything and he left. And as with ANY group, there will always be bad apples making the whole group look like shit.
  10. I think they're only weapon is the horse they ride
  11. That fucken oversize surcharge is a bitch aint it? I learned that one the hard way the first time I shipped a -2 swingarm in a standard sized box through USPS. Its actually cheaper buying two boxes at Office Depot that are too small for the swingarm, and then use one for a top and one for a bottom and tape the shit out of them than it is to use a box that fits. The length goes oversize by about an inch.
  12. I'd like a picture of the front and rear rotors please.
  13. Not me yet anyway. Have a trick design for a quick release collet/spring style, but have zero time for R&D. Rocky Mountain might be your best bet.
  14. Strange shit starts happening around 11K. I think the engine has a bad rod bearing.
  15. And the sad part is its becoming somewhat fashionable to blame the offending object, whether its an atv, a tv show, or internet porn as the source of a problem, rather than a parent taking the time and showing the responsibility that is, and should be, required of a parent. What could be easier than to let the government raise your kid? If a parent doesn't buy an atv, a kid under 12 can't ride it. Pretty fucking simple if you ask me. If a parent buys it, the kids should be supervised. I can see if the kid is stopped, is under 12, riding an atv with absolutely no adult supervision because the parent is using the atv as a baby sitter, issuing a warning or citation, but if you're out with your kids/nieces/nephews having a good time its a completely different thing. Everyday I see more and more why people move to Montana and start a militia. Its too cold there for me though. Maybe New Mexico or something.
  16. Is this Ronald McDonalds Banshee?
  17. Gimmie a minute.
  18. I'll draw up a dyno chart in MSPaint if you want me to. Just say the word.
  19. Kinda like watching the same porn over and over. You know where its gonna get stuck before she even gets it out of his pants.
  20. Now that I think about it, they used to have local matches on one of the shitty public access channels here. I dont know if they got shut down or not, but it used to be sunday nights, and it was live. There were a few guys that could put a hurting down. One guy wanted to try it to see "if he still had it from highschool"...swear to god thats what he said. He used to be a wrestler. After he put out his smoke, he got into the ring, ref said fight, he ran towards his opponent, and was promptly put into a submission choke hold. The one where opponenets are facing each other, and one guy is literally being hung by the other guys arm. A majority of this guys weight was being suppored by his neck now. The guy fought it until he passed out and the ref stopped the fight as he hits the mat. I never laughed so hard in my life. 9-10 seconds max.
  21. From my point of view, both MX and freestyle riders are doing something so far beyond my level it isn't even funny. As far as backflips are concerned, even though it does get boring, the act itself takes talent, timing and big huge hairy balls. If you look closely, sometimes they are hanging off the side of the tank as the guy flips through the air. I can't say I ever get sick of seeing the back flips. I've got to see an arena MX race from one of those sky boxes, same with a freestyle show, and being there is 0908097867326423 times better in person than on TV. Plus, I can't hear the wife over the motorcycles at the arena, and here, she can mute the tv.
  22. Me and my wife caught some on our anniversary when we went away for the weekend, and she loved it....found that strange. We sat there and watched these older matches for a few hours, and I had no idea that she'd be into that sort of thing. I guess I better come out on top if I ever get in a scrap.....
  23. Hoyce Grace is about the only one besides Shamrock that I'm familiar with. Watching the older matches Hoyce is a grappling sumbitch.
  24. Yeah its on the big sign at Egin Lake Campground. They also mention in a round about way about racing snowmobiles across the water too. I think you're not allowed to cross it in any motorized vehicle. I know a guy that crossed it on a YZ250, and hit a rock fuckin square. Sent him and his bike end over end. But I have seen guys hydroplane the front tire of a CR250 before. That was kinda cool. It was a few years ago, back when people were racing snowmobiles across the pond.
