Yeah.. Here they call it illuding an officer, or evading an officer, or resisting an officer, there is even a "insulting an officer" law on the books. You tell a cop to go f*ck him self and you are looking at a court date. I think it falls under disorderly conduct or something.

Did you give it too much clutch and stall it or what man??? Sucks to hear about that. Hopefully you can get your bike back, and get any fines dropped if you can say you were riding on the side of the road getting from point A to B. But what about the guy that ran? Did they ask you about him?

LMFAO I would love to see both the M&MS humping, and the peoples faces at the door.

Well, to be honest, for new carbs (unless they are the same stock size) to breathe to their full potential you'd need some porting. I went with a mild port, but I'm sure if I stepped up to a definitive "MX" port from Passion for example, I'd notice a lot more than I have now. Basically I went with a clean up port, and cleaned up the transfers. I also slapped in some Boyesen 2 stage reeds in stock unported cages, along with the head being shaved, flywheel lightened and timing advanced. The 2:1 really woke up my motor as well. That stock box is a POS. Somethings you might consider for all around gains that won't leave you mowing lawns for gas money: Clean up port job Any type of after market filter Flywheel, and head mods Ported stock reed cages Aftermarket reeds Possibly have your stock carbs bored out. You can only bore them to just under the diameter of the slide, so there isn't alot there, but I've heard there is a difference. Lighten up.....increase your horsepower to weight ratio. So far I've shaved or other wise removed or replaced with billet enough items to add up to around 10-15lbs or so. Maybe even more. I used to have all the tabs I cut off saved to weigh later, but then I figured that I was a little too uptight. I replaced the stock rims with Douglas. Got rid of the front bumper for now. Billet grab bar instead of steel. Billet pegs instead of steel. If it didn't cost so damn much to get welded I'd even fabricate aluminum swingarms, but its cost prohibitive unless you don't care. For now, I care LOL. I'll also soon be making light weight chromo steering stems. If you are handy at welding, perhaps section out parts of the frame for a thinner wall chromoly tubing. Not positive of the wall thicknesses available for any given diameter however, my book is at the shop. But its 2x the tensile strength as mild steel, so you only need 1/2 as much. Go by cross sectional area, not diametrical differences. If I think up more I'll post it.

I think ForwardAir is the company I'm going to go with when I procure my engine for my next bike from someone here at the HQ. They said they've shipped with them with no problems. The only problem I see is not every state has a location. Utah has only one, and its in SLC fortunately. If not, I would have had to drive to Vegas, but I don't think I would mind.

Go rent Excite Bike. Seriously, just plot it out to scale on some paper, or on a CAD system if someone has one that will work. MasterCAM will let you design anything anysize really. All you need is a masterplan on what will go where.

Damn Jethro....just gotta drag a toof brush across them once in a while... I'm 29.5 years old, and I've only ever had 2 small cavities. Both when I was 17. One of my most favorite things to do is brush my teeth. I don't know why, but I have to make a concious effort to not over brush them, and to only brush them twice per day. I have a section of gum that is receeded a little bit because of over brushing. I don't mind balloons in the house, its my sister in laws kids that gets to me. Or maybe its the lack of tending that goes on....... I don't mind getting some what dressed up, but it depends on where I'm going. In Vegas...no problem...out to dinner or something...no big deal...to one of my wifes families big dumb fucken wedding receptions...THATS where I draw the line. 4-6 per year was too many. I haven't been to a wedding in almost 2 years, and that was to both of my sisters weddings. If I never attend another wedding again I won't care.

eh.....I had someone port my jugs with out a degree wheel, but they build dragster engines for a living. They know what they are doing, and they knew I wanted a clean up. Both sides are the same and its a pretty damn good port job. I noticed a difference the first time I brought the front end up and damn near went verticle in the sand. I wouldn't suggest you do the same with someone that doesn't know what the difference between a pine cone and a piston is. Is she hot? -
Thanks, but you don't have sand dunes there. I too hate rain and snow, and I would much rather have it too hot than even slightly cold. When I'm out riding the dunes and its 95 to 100 out, thats just fine with me!!!

4 low should pull it right off of that LMFAO Women have a hard enough time with a standard transmission.....I can't imagine trying to explain a transfer case, then trying to explain that you can't just leave it engaged.....uhg ....my head hurts thinking about it.

DING DING DING!!! Good answer on the weight distribution. I typically on my single axle trailers (when I have one lol) move things around until I have about 100 lbs of tongue weight. I've towed a single axle that I built with 2 bikes gas and water at about 96 mph (damn speed regulator) for just over a mile once with out too much problems, but being that it was a smaller truck with that much in bikes I didn't want to risk spending my weekend looking for parts of my bikes in the weeds. But, a dragster trailer we borrowed one weekend could be towed over 100mph with about 5 bikes in it with no problems to speak of really. Can't say I enjoyed that all that much either, but I was a passenger that time.

She probably would have tried to just keep on driving if there wasn't a guy in the truck with her.

Advice and suggestions needed
Cotton eyed Joe replied to Flood's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I'd start by giving Jim at Passion Racing Engines a call or Dan at Patriot Racing. I'm sure either of those 2 would have a mountain of info for you. On these boards, Jim is PassionRE, and Dan is.....can't remember.... -
Hang a left at I-70 then a right at I-15 and head north to Sand Mountain UT.

Where can I get instruction manual?
Cotton eyed Joe replied to nebraskabanshee's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Clymers manual!!!!! Best money I've spent on that bike. I haven't even used more than about 4 chapters, but its helped me way more that I ever expected. -
Ti drag blocks??? OMFG.....the cost alone gives me a stomach ache...... And, finding someone to drill a hole in it so you can mount it..... I know a guy that works with titanium, and actually he found out how to work it, and not let the material work him.....not easy, or cheap. Now my question is, if he's using Ti for a drag block, from what I've seen with the little bit I've worked with ti, it can be sanded just like any other metal. But if he's looking for wear resistance and goes with a heat treated material more than likely it will just break on him and it won't spark as much. In my opinion, I'd go with something along the lines of mild steel plate. If he went 1.5 inches or so, and made them big enough it would spark like hell, wouldn't wear down real fast.......but it wouldn't cost a whole lot compared to Ti.
