  1. Sad to say this, but I agree. There are way too many bleeding hearts that would rather us send the Al Quaida terrorists some FTD flowers from Merle, and maybe get Betty Crocker off her fat ass to make some nice cup cakes to send to Saddam and his pals. Then we could sit down and talk with the terrorists since they tried to talk to us before our buildings got in the way of our own planes. There's way too much of that thinking going on. Too much of these liberals being ashamed to be American. Too ashamed to say "I can make a difference" too ashamed to make a move, let alone pay for it. Its always "WE SHOULD GIVE" but who's money are they giving??? Take a look at any celebrity. I bet most of those that host "FREE MONEY FOR 3RD WORLD COUNTRY" events don't donate. I do know that most get "sitting fees". One inparticular was Jewel. $30,000 per appearance, and the article I read didn't mention a damn thing about her donating that amount she received to that charity. She just stands up their with her snaggle tooth grin begging for these idiots to give away their savings. The whole thing makes me sick. All these asshats in charge do is give away my money so these morons can get a nice warm happy feeling. *Wow...I feel so much better knowing I have to work until May each year just to pay my yearly taxes, because those poor countries have something to eat now, and as a matter of fact, I should have to starve as well. That will make me humble--Here's everything I have. I'll go live under a bridge. f*ck having a comfortable life. I enjoy squaller* If they like it so damn much, maybe they could get the hell out of the US, and move to the Former Soviet Union, and try to spark up communism again. That was a brilliant concept wasn't it??
  2. Only if I get to convert to alchohol, and I tie your bike to the front of a truck. Oh, I also get 10 second head start.
  3. K, you guys seriously need to shut the hell up. Its almost 9 months away to tax return season, and I can't take reading this any longer!!!! Theres a fat chance in hell I'm going to be able to save $12xx for a 12 port stroker at this point in time, so I have to kind of gamble on the IRS feeling soem compassion for me or something. lol. I'll go so far as to say "when" not "if" I get the 12 port.....When I get the 12 port I'm not telling anyone. I can't wait to see the looks on their faces at the hill when I don't keep dead even, or the rare slight win, but when I leave them digging their bikes out from under a load of sand.
  4. Agreed.... But if Toomey did f*ck up, I'm sure he will replace the pipes.
  5. actually GM has so many freakin' brands that some are made in canada, most in the good 'ole USA, some in mexico, shit the new GTO comes out of the Haldeman plant in australia (g'day mate)... never heard of a corvette coming from canada, Bowling Green, NC since 1953.... doesn't get anymore american than that baby !!!!! GM has a plant in Austrailia??? Wow...Why not here? I don't get it. Its not like Austrailia is the capitol of cheap labor, and the shipping costs have got to be astounding.
  6. Here you have to have a VIN inspection if you buy a frame. It can be done by a sherrif (good luck finding one) or a DMV "officer" basically the dumb woman you are talking to about getting it done. Then, if you don't have a VIN, or its missing/not legible etc...you have to rivit a state issued VIN onto the frame, then get a VIN inspection. Right then, if the VIN doesn't check out, be sure you have a bill of sale stating the persons name, address, phone number blood type and shoe size. The state patrol WILL be contacted within 1 second of them verifying that the frame is stolen. If you can point the finger DO IT! Let it be someone elses problem, and you're only out $20.00 When I went to get my final registration, I mentioned that I bought the frame on line. The woman said..Oh you bought it on line?? I thought I was fucked...here we go again with the fuckin flaming hoops I have to leap through....When she says...You're registration will be $6.00 I said......$6.00 (it was almost $50 10 seconds ago) Yes. WOOHOO something went right that day.
  7. OMG....yeah.....alot safer on the road to get 15 bags of grocerys from WalMart. Hows about just get a Ford Festiva.
  8. New, used, stock or round house??
  9. First number in the vin should tell you where it was made. As far as I've been told on a Chevy, 1 is USA, 2 is Canada, and 3 is....well,....you know.
  10. He's too busy going "100mph in no time" to wash it. Besides, its mint... Why would you wash something that rare anyways it adds to the value...I mean c'mon...its a banshee, and they only made them for 1 year..
  11. I liked this line: there are only a few of these fine machines around Yep....rare as hens teeth.
  12. Material gets added somewhat to the surface from what I know. When we anodize parts we plug threaded holes with bolts because it will junk a thread in no time, and since the anodizing is harder that normal, it can not only dull a tap in a hurry, but if you go tapping out the holes with a now dull tap, the fucker WILL snap off in a hole. I would mask any mating or gasket surfaces, and any threaded holes. There are ways to do it I think. They can mask for chrome, I think they can do it for anodize. It uses HCL and electricity, so its kind of a harsh enviornment in the tanks.
  13. I second that. To get the true depth of what a dipshit that guy is, we need the link. Thanks.
  14. When me and my buddies go to the dunes, and someone takes their shirt off.......their nips start to look like something out of a National Geographic after a while..... HAHA Their man boob nips are staring at the ground..... My sister dated a guy that pierced his own with a cork and a sewing needle. He did it to see if he could do it. Then he did the other one a week later, but he ended up taking that one out because it wouldn't stop bleeding. He still had the sewing needles in when he showed us.
  15. Well, yes and no. I'm 29, and I own a good percentage of my parents' machine shop. They started it in their back yard shop when I was almost 4. I've been involved with it for more than 15 years though. I learned early on how to run a CAD/CAM system, how to program CNC mills and lathes, but most importantly, how to run MANUAL machines. Its better to know why you do something before you do it. Manual machining is less science, and more art. I've done quite a bit here in the last month or so....it gruelling, you don't get paid shit per job, but when you pull something off, you did it, not the machine per se. (but you can only machine as good as your tools allow you to) The shop now is 4000 square feet, and we have 3 cnc lathes: 1 8 inch, and 2 10 inch, 2 cnc mills, a horizontal mill (Cincinnati #2) and OD grinder (16 inch), 2 manual lathes (one is used just for parts finishing such as sanding or painting) and some tool grinders. We also have the usual sandblaster, 2 saws, rack for steel, rack for aluminum, rack for plastic, 3 or so drill presses, 10" belt sander/disc sander, MIG welder 50 ton press (were looking at fabbing an 80-100+ ton press soon)...ect..... Tons of inspection equipment, digital mics, joe blocks, optical comparitor, we had a micro fische viewer up until yesterday. We ripped that sob apart to see what made it work, but now it don't work. lol.... Its taken over 25 years to get the shop to this size. If we were to have grown like we did from 1988 until 1998, we would be a $2mil per year shop. BUT customers come and go. One of our biggest pulled out. Then 3 years later, another one filed bankruptcy on us. The company that bought them are about to do the same. Thats one of the reasons I started DDI, is to see if I can help save this shop. Too much has gone into it to just let it sit there or worse. Personally, if I wasn't involved in this business, I'd be doing some mechanical engineering/design work.
  16. So Evil, you have an earing you can hide.... WHAT ABOUT ALL YOUR TATTOOS????? lol... I have friends that have their bottom lip, tongues, ears, nose, nips done, and I know a few chicas with their nips done as well. Saw a girl here at a Walmart with 2 piercings in her upper lip, one on each side. I thought she had a BB stuck to her face until I realized that it was pierced. Anyone remember Captain Lou from the old school WWF??
  17. Are you only doing off road supplies, or are you doing anything that will sell on a truck?? Any brand I assume... If so PM me, I might have one to add to your list.
  18. Yeah, just don't get caught.... But thats what I was thinking too....mmmmm porn.
  19. "dessert storm"--he means tires for a Blizzard from Dairy Queen.... What do they look like?? Are the those tires with the rubber ridge across them that allows you to run on hard pack and dunes?? Those tires look aggresive as hell, but I wouldn't expect them to run the same as a paddle....I don't think you can get a dual use tire that will span those types of terrain. If I had the cash layin around I'd have a set though.
  20. Most of the buy in's I've seen for becoming a dealer are anywhere from $2000 to $11,500, you have to have a yellowpage ad, a store front, a cancelled business check, a copy of your business license and/or tax exempt forms (TC-71) and/or resellers lisence and you have to provide 1,000,000 pictures of the place to prove you aren't a scam artist, or just some cheap ass looking for an easy discount on parts. Wait until you talk to Douglas rims....I about fell out of my fuckin chair....Their buy in is in the $7,000 to $11,500 I'm thinking....("buy in" is the $$$ in parts you have to buy to get the discount. Not all are the same) So, thats why the only aftermarket parts I sell (besides the parts I make, I can't make heads right now anyway) are Noss heads. By far he's been the easiest company to deal with on dist. parts. It costs too damn much for me to "buy in" to a company right now. Hopefully you're experience will be different.
  21. I tried to find ANYTHING that would go in, but I doubt you'll find something that will stay. That little rib pops into that groove and holds it in.....I dunno..If you come up with something let me know.
  22. If I'm not mistaken my brother in laws Susucki LT250 and 230 use the same brakes.....not too sure as I haven't seen his bikes in over 2 years.
  23. that sounds more like it... Thats one hell of a half pipe!!!! You'd be catching 200 feet of air at the top.
  24. I don't ride, actually never have piloted a road bike.... If that road was by my house at all I would buy a bike to ride that road.
