  1. Is there a definite answer as to the compatibility of a shee bottom end and rz350 jugs? I did some searching and came up with confusing answers... has anyone out there done this? How hard?
  2. Does pro design have a website? Anyone know what it is?
  3. Pulling the motor apart now. This is the first time I have ever dug into a banshee motor. I have no idea what what the stampings mean etc.. the pistons have .040 stamped on the top. I am assuming the are .040 over... but I do not know what the others mean. The rods have 19L stamped on the sides (iirc)
  4. Is there a way to tell what a motor has installed? Stampings or anything to tell from stock?
  5. That frame is from a Honda Hawk GT aka NT650. It is an aluminium twin spar frame with a single sided swingarm. But there will be enough mods to the frame, you can't really call it a Honda any more.
  6. A few months ago I started asking a few questions related to the shee motor. This would be the reason why... I am putting this: into this... Want to get some good HP out of this thing. Any suggestions? I have thought about just using a RZ350 motor, but this one was free. I already have the RZ tranny to throw into it...
  7. That's what I wanted to hear. Thanx
  8. Very familiar with the RZ350. That was my 2nd choice (after the rz500) however, I got the banshee motor for free, so the money saved can buy the cheetah or t-rex cylinders. Pit-bull racing did a hawk/rz conversion which gave me the idea. Along with others, a rz/banshee combo in a TZ frame etc...
  9. True. This engine is going into a street/track motorcycle frame. So I am looking for engine that will compatible with that.
  10. What is the recommended way to get to 90HP? Can this be done reliably?
  11. Anyone?? Let me hear your dream engines...
  12. A few of you may have read my intro post about stuffing a shee motor into a street bike frame... I am waiting on the motor to get here, as well as the frame. I know this idea can be done as a racer has put a RZ350 motor in the same frame that I have. The RZ motor was my first choice, but I got the shee motor for free and there seems to be more of an aftermarket for it. So what I am trying to do is build a MotoGP type replica. Streetable and trackable. I am used to high HP sportbikes, so I want to build the shee motor up to be reliable (fairly any way) and screaming. Was thinking of going big bore etc... I have seen so many different vendors for performance parts it is silly. Who sells good kits? Who does good work? I have read a few posts regarding T-rex motors, who does these?? How about the Trinity Cheetah kits? It looks interesting that they do a power valve conversion. Something I want (Low end is nice for the streets). Talking to some other 2-stroke guys (rz350 and rz500 types) they suggested adapting the RZ350 oil injection system instead of doing pre-mix... any ideas? any one done this? Anyway, I am a fairly competent mechanic and am not worried about any type of fabrication or building. I have built several monster sportbikes and am looking forward to this one. So any help, ideas, suggestions or comments would be appreciated
  13. Kinda new here. Been floating around for awhile trying to find some answers to my questions. No, I don't have a shee, nor am I looking to buy one. However, I do own a 87 shee motor. That motor is going to go into an aluminuim twin spar motorcycle frame. So I will be poking around a little bit to get some build advice of the shee motor. So I hope you can bear with me not being a 4-wheeler....
