  1. Well, What was the guy selling? It sound like he was building his "credibility" so someone would believe what he was saying and buy his book. In my opinion, if some human being has the ability to predict the future to any extent, it wouldn't be a select few "special" people that happen to have a book to sell, or a service to sell for $40/hr, but everyone would be able to, to some degree. I can tell you "That 70's Show" will get canceled. I can also tell you I knew that the Genesis space capsule was going to crash. How did I know? I didn't. But you don't need to know that. Anyone I've ever encountered that claimed to see the future, or read minds wasn't all that right in the head. Hell, I'd be more inclined to believe that there are other life forms out there floating around in space than I would believe predicting the future.
  2. I don't know if I misread that, or you mis wrote it, but either way I'm not local. Laughlin is like a 14+ hour drive for me, and honestly I don't know if my truck is going to last that long. Take some pictures for me. I'm really interested as its something I've wanted to do for a while, but it won't be until next summer when I plan on having my bike done.
  3. When you wind it up, be sure you wind it up in both directions to work your fore arms and your biceps brachilii.
  4. Im still working a few details out that seem to catch my eye everytime I get something ironed out. I'll make sure I get a link page and put you on it.
  5. lol This package was bigger than a ring box..... and probably had something more exciting...
  6. Have you checked for a shorted out wire? I had this happen and it was a couple wires shorted out on my exhaust stingers. It would only start with fresh plugs, and then it ran like shit until I rectified the situation.
  7. Exactly. If you get shot with a .22 or a .357 mag its going to kill you. One will leave a bigger mess is all. This morning one from each catagory was killed during the AM rush to work. One was on a bullet bike, the other on a big cruiser. Both got taken out by left hand turns in front of them. The guy on the bullet bike was going 95-100 in a 40 mph through an intersection with his light in a full red, and the guy on the cruiser was doing the speed limit on a straight away road.
  8. Zorak i think was his name. lmfao It does!!! God I miss that show. I haven't seen it in years. I don't get cartoon network anymore.
  9. I think we need to do this more often for each other. I just had a GREAT buying experience from a fellow HQ'er. I bought a set of stock a-arms from Sickboy, and not only did he get them to me in a decent time frame, he packaged them to prevent damage, and I got one hell of a deal. If he ever has anymore stuff for sale you can bet I'll be checking it out!! Just the fact that he didn't have a problem providing me pictures, which were accurite, and he disclosed any probelms with the parts before hand, and what they did and did not come with is something more people need to do rather than worry about an item not selling. If its junk throw it away. Pretty simple isn't it? Thanks again Sickboy!
  10. LMMFAO!! How in the hell did you find that??? BWAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Classic!
  11. LMFAO! They always claim how fast the bike will go, but they never do mention how well it will stop do they?
  12. Buddy of mine just got a new Kawasaki 636. His insurance is little.... He told me Kawasaki doesn't require full coverage on bikes less than 10K if you finanace through Kawasaki.
  13. I cranked my waste gate valve down tight. I'm running nearly 12lbs of boost right now, but I'm thinking of ditching the single turbo setup in favor of a dual turbo set up. One slightly smaller than the other. This will facillitate good boost at low rpm, with it popping at around 3000-4000 rpm and the larger turbo will have had time to spool up and will take over on up to 10,000 rpm. One of my buddies that did this actually had the knobs on his tires come unglued from the tire case itself. LOL He was throwing these little rubber tire lugs all over the place.
  14. WELCOME!!! Over the last 6 years, I've learned just about everything from this site. The things I haven't learned here I learned the hard way.
  15. I run a 13/44, and with my 20" skats its too low, but when I get 21 or 22" rears, it should bring me back to stock or a little higher.
  16. I dive, but only where its warm
  17. I had something similar, except mine quit running while it was hot because the wires that ran too close to the stinger melted and shorted out. Once I changed to some fresh plugs it would run only on one cylinder. Once I got the wires off of the pipe, and from each other it fired up on the first kick everytime. Got a nasty shock when I found the short btw.
  18. its def someone who drove by the shop a lot or someone who has been in it. they knew what they were coming for. Here in the ghetto, both where I live now, and where I grew up, the first clue someone is casing the place is if they drive by alot (hard to notice at first, but eventually you catch on) if they walk by alot, or come over a lot, but don't really do anything. There used to be kids that would literally pace back and forth in front of my parents house. They would pretend to be jogging, or going for a walk at 2am. One night we pretended to leave, and just layed out in the house for them. They nearly broke in, but something spooked them. They left the neighborhood shortly after that, but I think I met up with them about 5 years later...friends of friends...more of a coincidence than anything, but there were 3 guys, and these 3 guys I met all had the same names as the guys breaking into houses along the street. (we knew their names because we could hear them talking and yelling back and forth and for some reason they used their real names.... stupid kids.)
  19. Seriously, I have 10 stinger grease zerks in stock. They require a tapped 1/4-28 threaded hole. The bad part is, I'm all out of threaded holes. I have plenty of 3/4-10, 7/16-14, and a ton of 8-36 threads and holes. Boxes of them. But I used my last 1/4-28 thread and hole on my stinger tubes. Anyone want a deal on some 1 1/4-12 threaded holes? I can't even seem to give those away.
  20. HOLY SHIT THATS AWESOME!! I thought about making a billet slider, then I thought about what it would do to my chain. Show only on that one, but if I could some how sheath a nylon slider with aluminum on the outside, just to make it look better than grease stained white plastic, that would kick ass.
  21. I guess that could be construed as "cold"
  22. Shit bro.... its getting to where no where is safe and its hard to fight to keep whats rightfully yours. I hope you get to kick whomever did this in the nuts. Its more than the 12g's its the principle of the matter. Theives should get their hands cut off.
  23. He hit it right on. If you go more than about +6, you'll have to run your chain either loose enough that you can jump, or tight enough that it won't skip off the sprocket, and not jump. The chain tightens as the swingarm moves upward. With a lengthend swingarm, you will decrease your turning radius, but it won't be bad. A +4 would be a good all around length imho.
