I knew you were being sarcastic! The companies we rebuild stuff for tell us to use what ever we think we should use. The material call outs are shit we don't have, like 1075. Sometimes they call for 1045, when the carbon number can vary +/-4, so 1040 would be considered nearly the same thing if you account for its carbon number variance. And, if you ever get the chance to have some metric sized TGP (turned/ground/polished) material quoted....do it. We had a customer yell at us, in our shop, because he said the price was too high. We told him "This isn't Europe. Places here do'nt stock metric TGP. Its special order" He told us (in his own words) "There aint a damn bit of difference between metric and american." :baseball_wassat: According to our material supplier, the difference was about $1000.00 for a 12 foot piece between the 2.

I get alot of prints from companies using foriegn built equipment. Alot of the stuff I rebuild is from Switzerland and Belgium.

Multiply by .03937 if you have a measurement in millimeters converting to inches. Divide by .03937 if you have a measurement in inches converting to millimeters. .03937 inches = 1mm

This is awesome. Since I bought my billet Marvins I've wondered what the hell goes on inside a nitrogen charged shock. I've had to hold myself back more than once on tearing one apart. Mostly because I dont want to end up with something blasted through my eye when I do something stupid and the N2 lets go at 700psi.

If I had the bike here I could do it easy. I made some custom stinger tubes to route the silencers to the middle of the bike under the seat, and and to get it around a 2:1 filter. Shouldn't be too hard if the person you send it to has the bike and a bender right there. :baseball_mitt:

This is why I mix my oil at gas at 20:1 but I mix it 20 parts oil to 1 part gas. That way I KNOW I will have enough oil without worrying about settling or precipitating out of the emulsion.

In my local paper this morning they put on the front page of the local section "The New Emo Trend" and they show (presumably) 4 sad "girls" in the captioned photo. What the fuck? This was going on about 6 years ago. When ever it was Linkin Park came about, but apparently now its the top trend to follow. We got a few of them at the gym here too. They come walking in wearing girls pants and leather hats n shit. Whats funny is they are all built like coat hangers, but act 1/2 tough.

From my limited experience it sounds like you are boarder line needing to run higher octane gas. I know a few people here that had stock stroke and bore, but 18cc domes and everyone runs +4 ignition. They'd run a mix of 112 (its all the local guy had for a while) and 91 or straight 91 depending, but I don't personally have the knowledge to say you'll be safe. I run about a 20cc dome with all the same shit and I run 91 with no problems so far.
