Can someone do the math on your avvy for me, please?
-
Well don't ever let them pipe your shee. For my pipes you should go up about 8 sizes.
-
OH BOY!! I can't wait until i have to do this, he he, ha ha, ho ho!!. NOT!!
-
J-Madd right on with the pipes. I payed 350 clams for mine on ebay and they are in great shape, and the guy through in the O-ring clamps for free. I'm running 340's & 30 pilots right now with my few mods and temps are in the 50's usually. It's just that i don't use an airbox.
-
Yah' get some pipes dude. It's like the wake up call of wake up call's. Your shee is sleeping right now and you need to hit in the head with some Toomey's or CPI's or somethin'. I just did that and it's like Dr. David Banner turning into the freaking Hulk, Jeckle into Hyde, you get the idea. Best thing you can do, man!! If money is the issue go to ebay and get some FMF's. You can get a good deal on them there, used, whatever.

thanks blue!

link > http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=2456402382 That's a pretty tall statement.

Here's one someone showed us last week. They are tested on a modded 370 banshee and I think with porting and stuff. http://www.planetsand.com/memberphotos/98474-dyno3.bmp

Seems like he meant one or the other, but not both.

Will Not Shift While Engine Is Running?
sheeweet replied to erbilabuc's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
So I guess it wasn't the shift star thingy so cool. But about the washer. I put one about 3/32nd" thick between the shift lever and the stator cover, on the shift shaft. It greatly reduces play in the shift shaft whick led to my mechanism loosing it woith the shift shaft. It will never hapen again. It has happened to lots of peeps here with shee's and that is what they advised me. -
When are your T6's coming in? Maybe you should just wait till you put those on. I didn't like the spotting of the plugs discription, that indicates detonation. Detonation will destroy your motor real fast. Check that all of the carburator hoses are hooked up securely and check there are no air leakes at the airfilter connection and where the carbs bolt to the reed cages and the reed cages bolt to the cylinders, make sure you did not damage any gaskets when you put in your new reeds. Check that you r carbs are spotless inside and no jets are clogged. Your under 500', temp 45F. For T6's and your other mods try 330 mains first and then see if you need to throw in some pilots. I think you will probably end up putting in #30 pilots. I would't think of running it right now till you get those jets.

Will Not Shift While Engine Is Running?

I bet that's what it is too! Get yourself a Clymers manual. I think the shift star thing is the reason I bought a Clymers. And if that turns out to be the problem then fix it and washer up the shaft on the shifter (left) side, hell, do that anyway. -
Now it depends on your elevation and temperature too. I am at sea level and it's highs of 60 degrees F today. For my conditions I would go out and get some 240 main jets and throw those in. I would adjust my air screws 1.5 turns out from closed and see where i'm at. When I buy the main jets i would also get 230's and 250's cause 240 is just a guess and could be wrong. You will want an assortment anyway for the changing seasons. I would also get #27.5 pilots too just incase. However I just payed $67.00 on the same amount of jets (4 sets) at the Yamaha dealer, Oh and make sure the needle are in the stock location..

Thanks guys, everyone a good answer just as i expected.

Hi guys, I was wondering today why are elka's so much more $ than works. So I came to the best place I know for a good answer. Are elka's that much more better or what, and why?
-
I wonder if baddestbanshee would be pissed if I copied that seat. That would be perfect on my shee.

Hey jasonsb, dude I live too far from glamis to go for just a short holiday and i must work anyway. I live in the S.F. Bay Area. Pismo would be more like it for me though. Hey jason if you are ever planning a trip for Pismo and you want more shee riders to hang with there then drop me a PM. It's just that Glamis is too hard for me to get to unless i take a long vacation to make the drive worth it, you know! And i have a confession, I've never even been there. I wish i could go though. And i like your sig!! Reads like you've got a sweet shee

Don't waste your money. 140 bones will buy you a variety of cool mods for the shee instead of giving it to that shop. Like those guys said, you can do it. It's easy. If I can do it so can you.
-
I'm thinking 320/330.

I just bought a new Canon Powershot A80. 4 Mpixels and it's pretty good for a point & shoot. Also got one of those Canon picture printer thingies that you see in TV commercials. That thing works killer!

Jetting Tr6 Pipe And Daul K&n Filters
sheeweet replied to @@banshee_rider@@'s topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
that was quick -
If I ever build my motor I would lean towards a motor which is suited for sand drags, but still acceptable for duning. I just got my T5's I won from ebay and they are a nice set. CPI inframes provide more power in the top, comparably. Lot's of people say that CPI is the ultimate sand pipe out there right now. I'll let you in on a little secret, SHEARER! If I ever build my motor................

Jetting Tr6 Pipe And Daul K&n Filters
sheeweet replied to @@banshee_rider@@'s topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
250 mains!!!!!!!!!! That can't be right. TR6's w/duel K&N clamp on's, new reeds (what kind of reeds?) & your at sea level. You have to be way lean!! How warm is 30 degrees celsius or what is that in farenhiet (spelling)? I have T5's w/K&N clamp on's & I am running 340 mains and that could be lean, I have to do plug chop, still.
