Fill it with a full tank of gas/oil mixture, 24/1. Ride after decent warm up, 5 minutes and then start off 1st and 2nd gear for a few minutes, and just don't peg the top end. Shift through all the gears up and down occasionally. It's ok to give it some throttle up to 3/4 but just don't sustain high RPM's for long. It's probably not a good idea to bog the motor. Keep it in the mid RPM's as much as you can with occasional trips to the over mid RPM's. Don't keep the RPM's in the same place all the time. Burn the whole tank into the reserve and you should be good to go and let it rip.

Man, when i lube up mine it get's nice and stiff. i don't worry about a spring but it get's pulled pretty hard.

I think I paid $220+ for the 9's on 160's from Rocky Mountain. edit: I went to look for you and Rocky Mountain has them in stock. For $224 you can get the 20x10x10 9's on 160's. These were not the extremes. For the extremes it is $89, 77 for the non extreme, for a single tire. I couldn't find the package for the extremes. Here's the link to RM. I got my 9 paddle 20x11x10 haulers from www.rockymountainatv.com My mods are just T5's and duel K&N's. I can only speak for the haulers and I say they are awesome in the dunes for whatever you want to do. Even when my shee was stock I ran the haulers with no problem.

After my lights blew, I left the motor running [its pitch black outside, no moon, etc] and my plugs were glowing blue at the chrome bases. Blue flashes (not sparks) were flying out of the plug wires into other wires, even my hands as I touched the wires. I couldn't even feel it. It knocked my ass off when I touched the plugs, though. I've touched running plugs before and not got shocked. Looked like something out of a movie. Sorry for the long, pointless post. A ground problem maybe?

My vote goes to the '03 LE! Best graphics ever on a factory quad, IMO. Every night I go into the garage and sit down in the chair next to it and light a smoke. I just sit there and stare at it for like 30 minutes sometimes. It looks so good with the pipes and other things I've done to it so far. I need to get a pic of it on here again. Anyway it's parked right next to my blue '03 350Z and I enjoy looking at the shee more than my highly polished Z. mike

Hi guys. I am thinking of converting throttle over to twist style. It doesn't take all that long for my thumb muscles in my hand to start acking and then it get's to the point that I can hardly even hold the thing. But since I still need to remove the TORS I should make the decision on which kit to get. So for you guys with twist throttles on Banshee's experience, what are your opinions and thoughts about them. Me being used to controlling with the thumb throttle I wonder if I might have issues controlling with a twist. Is their a risk factor, know what I mean? Thanks!!

I got my K&N's from Rocky Mountain and they offered a cool coolant bottle relocator bracket. I ordered the bracket that has holders for spare plugs too. It wasn't that much $!

I've got T5's and clamp on's and the 9 paddle Haulers. Everything else is stock. Shee just rips up the razor backs like shee is cumming & cumming!!

What badshee98 said. And important you buy the outerwears too. I also used some plastic tie straps to further secure the outerwear's. Remember to rejet your mains!

But don't you have to take two links out at a time to rematch male to female, so to speak?

I had a 13 tooth sprocket to replace the stock 14 tooth one. I got it from Rocky Mountain ATV and the catolog said it would work with the stock 104 link chain. I installed it and after adjusting the chain, using all the adjustment, it was way too loose. The chain is not stretched either. So I had to put the 14 toother back on. So do I need to go with a larger rear sprocket when going with the 13 tooch front or WTF? Oh Ya, I broke the chain to see if removing two links would solve the issue and it wouldn't stretch far enough to re-pin the links.

Off topic but regarding red or green stickers. I recieved my new reg sticker for my Shee and it is a green sticker. I was expecting it to be red. Did the state screw it up? I'm from, unfortunately, California. But I put it on and went to Pismo last week, no problem there. Had an awesome three days too.

The "stock" '03 LE radiator cover is simulated carbon fiber. Is their a real CF cover you can get somewhere?
