if you wanna go faster, suspension upgrades should be in order sometime soon. even with your setup right now, better suspension will help you to go faster. you dont want a ton of power and have shitty handling.

if you do anythign make the a arms and shit a different color than the frame. i think they look wierd when everything is the same color. but yea like evil said, chrome is nice too

they are roundhouse carriers. they dont have all the bullshit chain adjustment crap like yamahas do. honda swingarms are much more advanced, even more advanced than the yfz450. the adjustment on the 450 is fuckin shit. id do something different with mine but its aluminum.

i wouldnt even bother with works. ive never heard anything good about them. save yourself the pain later and buy some elkas now. you will not be disappointed. i run the dual rates with piggyback rezzies on mine. they soak up anything and everything that gets in front of it.

i did all the welding on my swingarm. i got the parts from CEJ and then modified my stock swingarm. i just didnt feel like spending 7 or 800 bucks on a swingarm.

if you could do it yourself i would recommend Cotton Eyed Joe's roundhouse carrier conversion kit. if you are interested just send him a pm and he can shoot you a price.(much, much cheaper than buying new arm). just trim out the stock swingarm where the half circle is and then you can weld the round tube in place. check the pics, its a lot easier to see what im talking about. ive been runnin mine for like 4 months now and had no problems whatsoever. and i put mine thru a lot of abuse. you have prolly seen my videos.

i ran t5s with my 12 port passion stroker for about a week while i waited for my rockets and it ran really good. when i got my rockets and put them on it made a huge difference. i had so much more on top it wasnt even funny. it really depends on what you wanna do with it. if you dont think youll need crazy top end speed then youll be fine with the toomeys. if you wanna go all out then id go cpi's or run some rockets. personally im glad i got my rockets. i think they look better than cpi's plus everyone and their grandma doesnt have them.

im not 100% sure about the cranks, but i know the crank bearings are the same. this makes me think the cranks are the same, and if so i dont know why the rest wouldnt be about the same. only problem i see is that the 250 is gonna be smaller comin out of the cases. the cylinders wont interchange. i bet the gears and all are pretty close to the same, but the cylinder isnt gonna bolt right on there. as for making the cr500 engine fit into the 250 frame you shouldnt have much problem unless its an aluminum frame and then you have to have someone who knows aluminum make any needed changes to the frame. i bet case wise they are almost the same.

i hate to tell you but if you are tearing up seals and bearings swapping out axles you need to just let someone else od it. ive swapped out axles many times and never once tore anything up. nick, just be careful takin it out and keep on using them. i SERIOUSLY doubt you did anything to them since they are not very old.

watch out for the yfz450 tho. they will give you a run for your money. one missed shift or small slip up and youll be eatin their shit.

well if you ride it for a long time and the axle is really bent im sure its gonna wear faster than a straight axle. if you pull it out now you should be fine. i just wouldnt ride it a whole lot if you are plannin on replacing it. id say youll be ok.

well its almost right on. i went out today to just try the 50 pilots to see if id get some more power on the bottom but i lost one of them. im gonna pick one up tomorrow and see what happens. right now it screams, just doesnt have all that shit id like on the bottom. im runnin 175 mains, needle in the middle and 49 pilots. air acrew is 2.5 out.
