What a cool name. Just plain old Mike here. Come to think of it, your brothers name is Steven (sp?)...are your parents big aerosmith fans? (uhhh steven tyler... ). 283280 haha yea its a cool name. yea yea, everyone says that about steven tyler, but my bros name is stephen so its a little off. im with wallrat, alot of people call me dickhead or asshole.

i would go powdercoat. i dont think there is much that holds up better than pcing. the guy that does all my stuff is very cheap i think. for normal colors hell do a frame for 150 bucks. that includes the sandblasting. for the translucent colors he charges 175. hubs and small shit is usually under 10 bucks a piece. 200 for a frame plus the 65 an hour for sandblasting is robbery.

i didnt think you could chrome aluminum???

i kinda agree. for 4000 it better be a badass used one with a ton of aftermarket shit on it. if it were me and i was new to banshees, id buy a new one so that you can start fresh. all parts are there and you know what you got. if you buy a used one then it could be hard for you to get to know whats supposed to be and whats not supposed to be on it. i would check with NYUK on this site. hes always got really good deals on used banshees that look like they are brand new. maybe hes got one sittin around somewhere. id be leary of ones with so called engine work and stuff like that, unless you really really trust the person and know the engine builder. someone had a list one time of everything to look for on buying used banshees. maybe someone will post a link up.

wow thats a sweet piece of aluminum. how many hp meat?? i bet the stickers add at least a few wouldnt you think?? i like the response t othe question, "nacs website says" haha nice. -
hmm looks pretty professional to me someone is definetely gonna tear something up when they try and use it. notice he has 0 bids on it?? it would have worked had he cut it square with the rest of the swinger. thats basically how ive cut and extended mine just cut square with the rest of the swinger and then extend. oh well, i wonder of that chain slider will be dragging the ground too much?

grind on the shock. at the top you can clearly see that the shock will not go all the way into where the shock mount is on the frame. grind on each side that it will slide up in there. on the bottom of the shock youll grind on the side in towards the frame so that the shock ont hit on the lower back piece of the shock mount. its really pretty easy just look at it and see why it wont fit. also you may have to undo the lower a arm from the spindle to get yours bolted to the lower a arm. then put a jack stand under the lower a arm so that when you let the banshee down it compresses the spring some so you can bolt the bottom a arm back to the spindle.

damn that thing was faster than shit. now can you imagine if it didnt weigh 500 pounds what it would be capable of?

for trails and hillclimbing it is best to stay a little more narrow. i run quicksand +1 a arms up front and a lsr axle in the rear on my stroker. thats more than wide enough. you dont wanna get too wide because you can get high centered on shit on the hill. but that also depends on what kinda hills? rutted out hills i would stay more narrow. groomed hills like at our hillclimbs you can afford to go a little wider because most likeyl there isnt a big ass rock or tree rut to catch up on. we do have some hills here tho that are pretty fucked up and have shit to catch on. thats why i dont run extremely wide set ups. just good enough to be stable is all i need.

sure will. everything is the same from like 90 to present. go for it.

eric gorr for sure. he builds badass shit. and his price and turnaround is very reasonable. i highly recommend him. ive run passion porting and wasnt very happy with it as most of you know.

that dudes funny.

guy that works with me had a z28 camaro. it was like a 2001 or something. anyway, he talked shit about how he could roast me off the line and spank me on my banshee. we lined them up one day and i shot out of the hole and just walked on him. he said he past me when he was going about 75 or so. its gonna be hard to out accelerate a banshee on pavement.

best in the world is the kawi v force. they whoop banshees easily.

sounds like a badass truck, but i think you are in the wrong forum -
Man dude I might just have to buy some grips from Stan. Loco has some faith in him. lol. I understand where you are coming from though loco. By the way most of the dirt drag racers don't where gloves. 282338 i gaurantee you will be more than happy with stans grips and i dont even have them. bansheeo4le does and i know he likes them alot. if you buy from stan i bet youll end up being a repeat customer like most of the people that buy from him. alba sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
i think the ones i saw had cdi and 3 coils. its crazy lookin seein 3 of all that shit.
-
alba, who the fuck is alba? they make quad shit? they make quality stuff? ive never heard too much good about them. haha what?? what kinda pros? pro drag racers? pro mxers? billet grips arent for mxers. they are for ppl who want some bling and something different. why you so against stan's products? do you own any of his stuff? i would much rather spend my money with a stand up guy like stan than some worthless non atv riding fucker from alba. ive bought countless items from stan and he has always been excellent to deal with and he will go waaaay out of his way to make his customers happy. can you say that about your precious alba? do you even know anyone at alba by name like we know stan by name? them guys at alba couldnt give a fuckin shit less about some individual fucker wantin parts. they just put the wood to you with no lube. stan on the other hand will not fuck you around or sell you shitty parts at an extremely outrageous price. take your alba lovin ass somewhere else.
