  1. great jim, im really happy for him. im glad he could find some usefullness out of those cylinders, but i couldnt. you were absolutely no help to me during the tuning of that engine. no help. you had no offering as to what might be wrong. am i lying here? you said oh it could be domes, oh it could be jetting, oh it could be this and that. there was no real help. and if you knew what the problem was why didnt you tell me so i could fix it? why dont you help these other people who are having problems? whats the secret since you seem to know it? well i think you are full of shit. i dont think you have any idea why these engines arent running how they are supposed to. dont act like im the only one that had problems, because you know damn well i wasnt. so once again for the record, when someone asks me about passion engines i will surely tell them my experiences with them. and once again, not you nor anyone else will stop me.

  5. sredish, it is a fuckin beast. runs really well. cant wait to get it on a hill next year and see what kinda times its gonna run. d34, i dont trust the dyno tuning too much. i already had to make adjustments to it also. only good thing about the dyno tuning that day is that it was the same temp inside where the dyno was as outside. my brother runs 33mm pwk's. he really picked up some top end when he switches to these.

  7. 01banshee, this guy can build whatever you want. hes got some insane bikes. turbo banshee, triple cylinder sled engine in one, and some other huuuge ass bikes. www.gtperformanceatv.com check him out. tats, i was pretty happy. my builder said with cpis and different domes im waitin on itll make 80hp. im not too concerned but i will eventually be testing the cpis on it. sometime next week i think. 2004le, there is no comparison. stan, surprised me too. had to do a little adjusting today tho. still a little leary of jetting on a dyno. i like to get out and ride it and get it warm and shit. you cant do that with the dyno tuning.
  8. yes jim offered to trade them out with me, which was good of him. i would have but i had already gone and tinkered with them. i still say there is a problem with the porting and if someone asks about passion ill flat out tell them, and there isnt a fucking thing anyone can do about it. if you dont like it, thats just too damn bad. and everyone acts like im the only one not satisfied with my passion shit. well thats just not true, im just the only one who choses to talk about it. there are a lot of passion engines out there that arent running how they were claimed to be running. sorry, but its the flat out truth. and im sorry, but i think a builder should be knowledgable enough about his own work to where he can offer solutions to problems. and dont act like im the only one who had the problem. at least 4 people had the same problem. where was he to help fix it? why did he have no answer? he was of no help to me when i was trying to get my passion engine dialed in for at least 5 months. all that happened was that i got blamed for not knowing how to tune an engine. well gee, there are alot of guys out there that cant tune then because there are several not more than 30 mins from me who cant get their tuned right either. i find it funny they all have passion engines. like i said before, opinions and shit changes. i was happy at first, then i wasnt after trying to tune for 5 months. anyone else would be pissed off too.
  9. haha yea. my brothers was deamn dear dead on. i think he changed the needle and gaines 2 hp. his was really close before we even put it on the machine. what i liked about dynoing there was that it was the same temp inside as outside, not 80 inside and 40 outside. so i feel better about jetting it on the dyno. next step is to get it on there with some cpis to compare them to my rockets. its just so fuckin expensive to tune on the dyno and id be tuning a set of pipes on my bike i dont even run...
  10. i dont have gorr porting. mine was done by a local builder. and as for having my own dyno, i wish. the guy that owned this one said it cost like 20 grand. thats fuckin unreal. as for the jetting, it wasnt too far off. i hadnt done much with it since i got it back together, so i was pretty happy with it. overall id say im happy with the numbers. cant wait to get the cr500 banshee on the dyno
  11. yep everyone, boon got me. i honestly have no idea what im talking about in any of my posts. truth is when i sent my shit to jim it was mildy ported. got it back and sure i was impressed with the power for a while. until i realized that something wasnt right with it. no matter what i did the rather large dead spot wouldnt come out of it. i asked for help from everyone who had theirs runing right(BD, Proquad and of course the great ol jim himself). well none were of any help to me. and as a matter of fact jim was the least help. sure the guy answers his phone and messages, doesnt mean he can help you. so i said fuck it and had some other shit done to the cylinders for the hell of it, just to see if i could get anything more out of them. i did not start changing things until i had tried all other options. still i wasnt happy. so i sold them. i still say with all the people out there that cant get their wonderful passion strokers running right, that there is something more to it than jetting or whatever is claimed to be the problem now. people change their minds about things all the time, just like i did. ill admit i was impressed for a while. until i realized that a 4mm stroker setup shouldnt run like that, and i can assure you that my new setup doesnt. so all you haters go on thinkin what you want about me, cuz either way i dont really care what you think about me. so please, feel free to all jump on me now, be gentle tho...
  12. i would run stock a arms. then heat up your shock coils so that it drops them down some. thatll give you a nice plush ride for those huuuge freestyle jumps youll be hitting.
  13. well we went down today and had our bikes dynoed. i was gonna dyno my bike with my rockets versus cpis but my builder decided to be cool and not show up and bring the cpis. so all you are gonna get is my results with the rockets. plus at 100 bucks an hour on this thing i didnt wanna do too much dickin around. when i first got there i pulled 65 max hp. when i left i was pulling 76 hp. had to adjust the jetting several times. i was way too rich. also, i would really love to put the dyno sheet up here for you but its so fuckin shitty looking you cant even read it. i dont even know what my torque was, because i dont remember and also cuz i cant read it on this fuckin sheet. next time i will dyno my bike with cpis on it but ill have to get them from my builder first. also, if anyone lives near me and wants to run on this dyno its 400 bucks a day(8 hours), or 100 an hour to tune. so if anyone ever wants to do this let me know. there can be as many people there running as many times as they want.

  15. looks like a stock carrier setup to me...so therefore to me its stock. they got a fancy ass a arm set up but stock chain adjustment...thats real cool. i think ill put a stock like chain adjustment setup on my $25,000 bike. haha thats gaaaay.

  17. they had all that money in that banshee but didnt even swing for an aftermarket swinger. theyve still got the stupid ass stock shit on there with stock adjustment and all its stockness. i didnt really understand that. other than that it was a nice banshee. it was very clean. prolly even worth 16,000 but how often do you find people who drop that kind of money on a quad at any given time? tits, you thinkin about buying it? if so ill take your 450 if u need some extra cash to buy the banshee. ill give you 5 payments of $33.95 for it.

  19. i have been working with yamaha for several months now designing a replacement quad. all i can say is that it will be faster, lighter and more powerful than the current banshee. thats all i can say for now.
