  1. i would def recommend minkia to anyone who wants some rockets. hes a real good guy to deal with...and as you can see from the chart i would recommend the rockets to anyone...
  2. damn id like to try them too. im not gonna buy a set but if someone ever wants to let me test some i will. i dont blame someone for not wantin to send thier pipes off tho. i wish someone had access to all these pipes and could dyno them all at the same time. that would surely tell it all. hopefully ill get ahold of some shearers sometime to test. does grr make inframe drag pipes?

  13. and on the topic of this dyno being unreliabe in its numbers i just wanna add that i had the same bike dynoed on a dynojet machine and the numbers were within 1hp. so whats your explanation for that one firehead? the dynojet is junk too? i think you are full of shit.
  14. we are hoping to get some shearers to try out sometime soon. i would like to see the difference as well. if you wanna donate some money for dyno time be my guest its no big deal really. i like fuckin with stuff and seeing what makes the most power..

  16. 150 im sure will be too lean for my setup. when i first dialed it in on the dyno it was around 45 degrees. the next day it went down to around 30 and i rode it and it was cuttin out on top so i had to jet it back up a little. its like 20 degrees here now. im not too concerned about jetting it perfectly for the winter since i wont be really running it that much. spring is when ill be making sure its jetted perfectly. my bros builder said the cpis were the best but im willing to bet that even on his engine the rockets would pull more power. i wish we would have thrown them on his bike now that i think about it. oh well, we will have more dyno sheets coming soon...
  17. i would go to at least a 27.5 pilot. almost with all pipes i have used 27.5 pilot works perfect and i have even had to use 30 pilot before. what kinda air filter are you using? if you have an open air filter with no lid and such i would think your mains would need to be closer to 320 or so. if the plugs are that lean on top then obviously you need to jet up. id say around 320 or so.
  18. i think stephen is going to be using rockets on his engine. what we will prolly do is set it up to use rockets, then also test the cpis. i would be willing to bet that even on that engine the rockets are going to be the stronger pipe. we will soon know. im hoping to test the difference on several other engines including another 4mm and a 10mm set up. everyone there last night was impressed with the rockets and i even had a few ofthem saying they wanted to try them out. sp1tekiller, im sure its gonna be makin some crazy hp butthe torque number is what im most interested in...should be very high. d34, here is my air filter setup...
  19. i dont know right off hand how far it is. when i dynoed it last time it didnt have that chopped up shit at the end. only thing i can guess is that the needle may need to move one way or the other or possibly that my air filter was dirtier than fuck. timing is at +7. im sure it was prolly in the needle or the fact that my air filter was dirty. it was just gettin late and i didnt wanna mess with the jetting too much since his air/fuel sensor wasnt working. im gonna be taking it back when he gets that shit fixed. wesw, it is a running motherfucker. the other guy there dynoing his bike was actin pretty badass until i got mine on there. his pulled 72.7 and when mine pulled 77.3 his attitude changed, especially when he was talking shit and he found out my rockets were putting out more then the cpis on that setup. id really like to see a dyno chart on a 350 bike and see how it compares to this.
  20. single k and n filter runnin into both carbs.. 2 into 1 type of set up. my builder wants to test them on his 10mm bike vs cpis. so hopefully itll help to see what kinda engines they work best on. nugshee, they are def badass pipes. im sure that one some engines one is gonna be better than the other. im hoping to get them tested on a few different motor setups. a 10mm and my bros 4mm will be in the very near future....
