  2. when u get it together can you get it dynoed to see if it really will pull those numbers? id like to see if the number will be the same as a and s's dyno. you have a dyno nearby u? i guess im a little skeptical of these cubs since the olyl dyno sheet ive seen in one sheet on one dyno. there was supposedly going to be several more dyno sheets coming very soon but i havent seen them yet.

  5. if you use a spacer plate on the bottom of the cylinders you will not need to reconfigure for porting. youll gain torque by stroking.
  6. well stroker cranks add stroke obviously. hot rods are the rods that wiseco uses on their cranks. you can buy a stock stroke crank, stock stroke long rod, 4mm standard rod, 4mm longrod. im guessing for yours youll be buying a stock stroke standard length rod. the reason for the long rod is to take stress off the rod and piston. wit hthe longrod setup you have to use the 795 series pistons. if you think you wanna go with a longer stroke you have to have your cylinders ported to match the stroke unless you use a spacer plate. haha this is turning out to be real long. what else you wanna know? i could go on forever.

  8. ryan, i would buy brand new. i think they have a warranty and shit on them. i bought my h and h trailer for 5800. its massive. 8'6" wide and 20 feet long. surely a brand new 6 x 10 wouldnt be too much.

  10. i always choke before starting so yes thats normal. when you nail the throttle what does it do? spit and sputter or take a long time to get going? what carb is this?

  12. i would use some sort of k and n filter setup. as for pipes, rockets will be sweet on your bike. i would go for a noss head with prolly 20 or 21cc domes to increase the compression some. there is so much u can do just depends on how much u wanna spend. here is the thing, try to plan ahead. dont go spending a ton of money now on something that in 3 months wont make you happy.
  13. ive got a three gauge pillar in my 2001 cummins. its got tranny temp, boost and egt gauges. i just had a local diesel shop install them cuz it looks like a pain to me. my truck has a BD chip thats been pretty good. also before i had my full 4 inch exhaust and k and n installed the egts got really high. now they arent as bad. i was making 22 pounds of boost. today i put a turnbuckle on the wastegate arm to keep it shut and am building 30+ pounds now and the egts barely get above 900. thanks to Bdbanshee for the turnbuckle idea. works sweeet!!

  17. will it start at all? once it gets started what does it do? does it surge a lot idling itself up and down? or does it load up so that when u hit the throttle you are cleaning it out? off the throttle bogs can be caused by too rich of a pilot. is it bogging or feel like its dying out?

  19. not necessarily. you could be getting too much gas. what is your jetting exactly?? stephen, remember the 500 and how fuckin hard it was to start. i leaned it out on the bottom and it started right up.
