  2. this is the swinger off my silver banshee. i bent it at the first hillclimb this year and ran it like that for about 4 hillclimbs after that. i straightened it out best i could today and put the stiff back on the bottom of it. it will NEVER bend again. all it needs is a carrier and its ready to roll...its NOT perfect..when i bent it back someof the tubes kinda warped some but with the stiffback it wont go anywhere..i tig welded the stiff backs on and a few spots on my welding look kinda bad until i got going..its been a while since i tig welded..but they are on the bottom and with a little paint or re PC it, you wont even be able to tell...first $90 gets it shipped to your door...
  3. very true...compression tester will tell it all...but, stephens bike was drag ported and it still had 180 something poounds..not sure how much more travis's are hogged out...
  4. too heavy if u need to go fast tho...great for in the trails and just hillclimbing there..i personally would just use a kenda knarly for about everything...

  10. i didnt use any special tools. i adjust my camber so that the top of the tire is leaning in about 3/8 inch...thats it..no special tools required...i NEVER have touched the castor... like what?? an alignment machine?? its a quad not a car...string line and tape measure will tell it all... been runnin mine now for a long time no issues with the heims..been in sand, mud dirt with no problems... id never buy from alba, but thats just me..my brother bent his a arm at a hillclimb and gary sent him a new one 2 days later... how many ppl have told u now they are simple to install?? what answer u looking for??
  11. ive never had a set of chrome pipes blue. some will say this is a lean jetting problem, which could be partly true if the pipes get too hot...how is your jetting?? the whole blueing problem seems wierd to me because in 4 sets of chrome pipes between me and my bro, weve never had a set blue...this is 2 sets of t5s and our rockets now...
  12. prolly a 20x10 9 paddle. anymore than that and i think ull end up on ur ass. i run them on my 4mm cub with +4 swinger, but i def need more paddle...if u end up goin that route, check with me, as i may be sellin mine...
  13. prolly that the paddles on the 4 snow and zippers are too soft and will fold over...
  14. heres an easy check ebfore yo go to the trouble of pullin the clutch cover. fill the coolant all the way up, if its not already and ride it. see if the coolant level in the rad goes down. if it does, then yes you have a leak somewhere. if not, then its something else..when u drained the oil to change it, was there water in it?? i doubt that all of a sudden with this new oil it would have made it leak. if its leaking it would have already been leaking...was there water in the old oil??
  15. i wouldnt run razr 2. if ur gonna go with rzrs get the irazr. they are beefy and hook hard. too bad they are so heavy. i think theyll hook harder than HD's..HD's are a little soft...i say get some irazrs if u can... but between HD's and razr 2 def go with HD's...

  20. no, sounds like yours seperated or something..its one piece..i use bel ray exl 10w-40 for my tranny fluid. works pretty good as far as i can tell. been using it for 3 years..

  24. travis, you may find that those 18cc domes might be killin your top end. when fast did my bros cylinders he had 18cc(about 185lbs) domes. my setup which was nearly the same had 21cc domes.(about 170 lbs) there was a very noticeable difference in the top end of the bikes. mine would simply outpull his. might be something to think about when you get a tester and see what yours has..i guess with high compression you can gear high to compensate. with low you could gear low...just something to think about...
