    ive run them on my bikes for years and never a problem. ive never paid over 350 new either. 450 sounds pretty fuckin steep to me. check with magic racing and some others. but yes they are good axles and they have a good warranty.

    i used a helicoil on a cr500 cylinder one time. it was where the outside fitting for the coolant connected to the cylinder. it held fine for as long as i had it. it actually worked better than the stock way it was. which bolt is stripped? on the bottom or top?

    i wouldnt soak them in anything. id just spray them down with some parts cleaner and wipe them off real good. i wouldnt think that youd wanna up and soak them in gas.

    ive always set mine so that it has free play until the arrows line up. once the arrows line up then the rod is pushing on the ball and pressure plate. it doesnt move much. an inch is prolly about right.

    most of the propeg mounts use the top hole of the front motor mount on the frame rail. you usually have to use a longer bolt and run it all the way either in or out and use a nut on the other side. i think most propeg nerfs come with the bolts to do this. im sure someone here has a picture of it..

    kenda knarly or stock yfz450 tires. both hook very well, last a long time and are pretty inexpensive.

    id run your bike and check the plugs and see if you need to adjust anything. provided you arent already really lean.

    id say the biggest misconception is that they dont get you laid. well thats not true cuz ive fucked 5 hot bitches just because they wanted to feel the banshee vibrate. once they got on, they didnt wanna get off... or maybe that you have to do a lot of maintenance or something. :shrug:

    before you go slapping a 500 motor in there id just go buy a used kx or cr 500 and ride that. i see no point in putting a motor in there that you can have all ready to go in a bike.
