  1. waste. i dont know how youre gonna get 50hp to hook up on gravel, let alone 90...
  2. i concur... what you tryin to do kawi??
  3. cpi will make more power on top. theyll pull harder and longer.
  4. id actually run toomey t5's and run either kenda knarlys or stock yfz450 tires. you can get most shit at RMATV...www.rockymountainatv.com
  5. what kinda swingarm you lookin for?
  6. save yourself some headache and order from somewhere else!!
  7. trinity and alba are both a joke..
  8. yea most people who use the lockouts on a 70hp motor prolly arent gonna mess with the weights much. if we had on my bros cub im sure we coulda made it better, but he was plannin to go to a duneable anyway so we didnt bother with it.. the duneable is a nice tranny to have. ours have proven themselves for over a year now.. oh yea, all our lockout stuff is from DD..
  9. i run nothing but kenda knarlys or stock yfz450 tires...
  10. i would never match a lockup with a stock tranny, not because its hard on the tranny but because its gonna be a motherfucker to shift when drag racing. my bros 4mm cub had a lockup with stock tranny for a while. you couldnt shift it unless you backed all the way off the throttle. id recommend going with a duneable override at leats when you get a lockup...
  11. no age is too young. my dad started me when i was 3.. im 24 now and still riding. i get better every time i roll out..
  12. hell yea dave. good to see you around these parts.. for sponsorship info pm "Lee". he is the site owner.
  13. NOSS head
  14. id never fuck with a 4 cylinder. i know my mom had a jeep with the straight 6 and it was a runnin motherfucker. that engine has a lot of torque.. it was pretty good for pullin a trailer..
  15. what it is??
  16. those are some sick ass frames!!
  17. if the cases are split just use some parts cleaner. if they are not split use a garden hose or pressure washer and get all the nasty shit out. then run some parts cleaner in there...
  18. whats funny is that you would think brad was a 17 year old kid playing while working at a telemarketing agency, when in fact hes like 40 and has kids and what not. :yelrotflmao: jk old man!!
  19. upp's are not that expensive. and the billet boss intake is about 150 and and its a really nice setup. i think youll find most people here run the upp or boss..
  20. you can use any nut and bolt combo really. when i build and sell myswingarms i send them out with a metric nut and bolt combo for the pinch bolts. i think they are a M10 x 1.25 pitch. (the head uses a 14mm wrench or socket) they are usually about 2.5" long or so.. you might need different bolts and spacers for the caliper. not every swingarm setup is the same.
  21. do a fuckin search. theres TONS of info on this subject... i dont believe for a second you couldnt find anything..
  22. ok well it sounds like you need to drop your mains some. and id prolly drop the pilot too. does it idle ok? id say get some 42, 45, and 48 pilots and 160, 162 and 165 main jets. and yea a lot of people use the CEL needle. heres who id call for parts..in this order.. i would try FAST first. jeff will prolly have everything you need. 23. i didnt read this before..but i disagree..my brothers old setup was a stock stroke eric gorr woods port. 33mm pwk, t5's, stock airbox, noss head with 19cc domes..this setup made excellent power and torque. this bike was awesome in the trails. it was a stock length swingarm bike and it handled fine. the power was perfect and i could ride that bike just as easily as a new yfz450. you most definetely CAN set a banshee up to be an awesome trail bike. sure, its no yfz450. but you can make a banshee a great trail bike, just not with a set of cun cylinders..remember, they are NOT trail friendly!!
  24. cub cylinders are NOT trail friendly!!! i would go with a good strong woods port. you can get a good reliable 60hp with the right porting, pipes and carbs. id recommend the woods porting, toomey t5's and 33mm pwk with some clamp on air filters if you dont get into any water. id also run a nosshead with some higher compression domes and bump the timing up to +4. this will require the use of a higher octane fuel but itll be worth it..
  25. that doesnt explain your ass end jumping around. are your axle nuts tight? is the carrier loose at all? how loose is the chain? generally about 2 inches of up and down slack in the middle is about right. is your rear sprocket worn at all? its very possible that your chain was loose enough for you to jump teeth on the rear sprocket. you need to inspect all that and make sure its ok...
