  1. happy birthday homie!!
  2. what main jet and pilot are you currently running?
  3. i still say youre way too rich. have you changed spark plugs? maybe you fouled that side out somehow.
  4. FAST should have the needles. call jeff @ 1-785-364-5325
  5. i pick none of the above.. t6 are for stock porting, but i think t5s will peform as well or better. plsu their resale value will be higher. cpi are in inframe drag pipe so i say skip that one. id also skip the fmf.. as far as im concerned the best all around pipe to compliment just about any mod out there is the toomey t5..you should be able to get chrome or bare pretty reasonably. thats the route id go.
  6. youre still rich everywhere. try a 45 or 48 pilot and 160 or 162 main jet.. are you getting good spark on the right side?
  7. so the axle wont come out of the carrier? hmm, thats a problem.. id say just pound on it until it comes out, but if you wanna save it try soaking it first. youll prolly have to pull the carrier off the swingarm to do it..
  8. guess you gotta decide what you want more. with cubs youre gonna have a lot of top end, not so much on bottom. the power comes on around 6000 rpm. is the riding youll be doing gonna allow you to be at 6000 rpm and up? like i always say, cubs are not trail friendly. i dont care what anyone says. with proper porting, stock cylinders can be made to run awesome in the woods and where ever else you may wanna ride.. cubs are pretty much one track type cylinders. youre either going fast, or your not going..
  9. looks good man  supercharge that bitch..
  10. couldnt tell you about the hotness of the pipes. that bike isnt gonna warm up idling tho. the pilot is way too big. idle is adjusted with the black knob with the spring. i wouldnt even touch that until you drop the pilots down to at least a 48. im sure there is a proper way to adjust floats but i just adjust it a very little bit until i dont have gas flowing out anymore. you do this with the tab that the seat(the thing that stops the fuel from filling the bowl) is connected to.
  11. 162 mains and 48 pilots will be a good start. you should be able to work down from there. CEL needle in the middle clip. whats the temp there?
  12. youre way too big on main jet and pilot. most pwk carbs run 158 to 162 mains and 42 to 48 pilots. drop your pilot to a 48 and main to a 162. that will get you idling. then from there do a plug check to get the mains dialed in. as for the leaking, sounds like one of your floats needs adjusted a little bit to stop fuel flow when the bowls are full.
  13. you need to do a wide open throttle plug check and see what the plugs look like to really know what your setup needs. id say since you decreased air flow you need to decrease fuel..go down on the mains..
  14. i didnt even read anything above. i just wanna say boost bottles suck! bye bye now.
  15. uhhh, 20cc domes and +4 timing on pump gas?? whats your compression? sound like you might have solved your own problem. what jetting?
  16. ill bring out my pussy ass big bore motor!!
  17. it looks pretty good to me. that kit seems to be a pretty good price for all the shit you get. my cover seals with an oring. i think for extra security i threw some yamabond on there too..i havent had an issue yet..
  18. no, there are carrier upgrades. but in all reality, an aftermarket one is really no different than the stock one. the only difference really would be the bearings in it. unless you wanna go all aftermarket, i recommend just getting another stock carrier. pm NYUK on here. hes prolly got some layin around..
  19. i personally wouldnt waste money on stock shit. go with an aftermarket roundhouse arm..
  20. yes your pilot is too big. so whats in there right now? 42 or 45? drop down another size. also, have you done a plug check lately? that main jet seems pretty big for your setup. i usually see 158 to 162 on setups very similar to that...
  21. ive always run 158 to 162 mains and 42 to 48 pilots.. so id say if you got 158 to 168 mains and 42 to 50 pilots youll have it covered. have you checked your plugs lately? 165 mains seem pretty big to me, especially at your altitude unless the air strykers jet totally different from the reg 35mm pwk...
  22. just tighten it down tight, run the bike and re tighten.. ive used the 20 ft lbs before and it leaked..
  23. if you take 2 riders of the same skill, and put them on each bike setup identically, the cub bike is gonna win every time. setup is key. you can stick a 100hp motor in a frame with a stock swinger and get spanked by a bike setup correctly with 70hp. in this case, its highly unlikely that this kid is gonna find a guy with a bike setup identical to his, except with a cub motor..most guys with cubs have them setup accordingly.. with that being said, i still say theres no way this bike is gonna hang with a cub bike, let alone one setup like it should be.
  24. i disagree. i think they are great. ive been running them on my 10mm and 4mm cub motors for several years now with no issues. i run them on the rear and front. i ride my shit hard with tons of hard launches at the hillclimbs and here at my house when in testing and tuning.. even if you want to replace them after 6 months they are cheap enough to where you can do so, prolly at still less than the cost of a so called better sprocket..
