  1. hahahahaha... uhh, nooo i didnt...
  2. please, there is no excuse for the ridiculous spelling and absent use of punctuation. did you eve read the original post? this clown is on here bashing someone for being stupid, and not knowing what size domes were in his banshee, yet he can barely spell or put together a sentence that makes sense. and you wanna come on here acting like that? get real. on a forum, where the main means of communication is by typing, spelling and grammar in general are very important. dont act like you dont understand this.
  3. do me a favor and download firefox.. it has a built in spellchecker. maybe you should spend less time on the internet and more time going over 6th grade spelling. you sound like a fucking retard.. you accept that youre a dumbass who cant spell? some peoples kids...
  4. word. plus i got a msr easy pull.. i can pull that bitch in with one finger. its gonna be nice to have when im on the line at the hillclimbs this year.
  5. youre gonna get personal preference here. i personally think lectrons are junk. ive run them and didnt like them. i thought they were cheaply built with shitty hardware, and for the price they shouldnt be.. i have run 33, 35 and 39mm pwk now and love them.
  6. mine is actually more towards the clutch side. i dont think there is an exact science to it as i think some peoples setups are just different. thats why youll get some guys lined with the arrow and some guys either direction away from it.. my main point of this whole thread was that inspection of your clutch cable is a good idea and replacement every couple of years is a good idea.
  7. once i installed the new cable, i had to adjust the pancake bearing so that i would still have my adjustment on the perch. otherwise, i had none. my clutch arrow does not exactly line up with my clutch arm. ive heard of other people having this same issue. i dont go by that arrow at all. this post really didnt have as much to do with the fact that i had to adjust the pancake bearing. the fact that i had to adjust my bearing led me to figuring out my cable had stretched. some people may never have these issues, and some will. like i said above, i dont go by that arrow. if i had, and left the pancake bearing, i wouldve had no shortening adjustment on my perch. so i say fuck the arrow, and adjust the pancake to where ive got adjustment both ways on the perch..
  8. the two i bent were +4. the one i run now is a +6. no way ill ever run a swingarm again without the gusset. its just not worth it.
  9. what bolts on the back of the clutch basket??!!
  10. i dont do any jumping anymore unless my shit is gusseted. i bent the fuck out of two heavy duty chromoly swingarms a couple seasons ago. after that, i said fuck it and started building my own.
  11. im picking that up tomorrow.
  12. haha i like this dudes style!!
  13. Haha, is that better???
  14. i read a lot of posts where guys are having issues getting their clutches adjusted properly.. or its fine for a long time and then all of a sudden something is wrong.. clutch cables need to be replaced every so often. ive been running the same one for a couple years now, and its stretched a lot.. i just put a new one in and in order to get my clutch adjusted back properly i had to adjust the pancake bearing. this is due to the cable stretching. id say it stretched 1/8" or so.. that may not seem like much, but in the world of adjusting clutches it can be a real pain in the ass. so anyway, just a reminder to everyone.
  15. you DO NOT want to buy anything from that fucking clown.. turn and run away from that shit.. you need a NOSShead. NOSS is a site sponsor and builds an awesome head. plus you get a discount for being an HQ member.
  16. sounds like splitting the cases is in order. stuck in fifth? sounds like you might have bent a shift fork and thats where the shavings are coming from.
  17. i would go with pwk if at all possible.
  18. i agree. electrical problems are a fuckin pain in the ass. i had a bike do the same thing. it would run all day long, and then at some point would just start fagging out. turned out that my coil was not grounded properly.. i also think your jetting is too rich for that temperature. i think you need to be down closer to 162 main and 45 or 48 pilot.. dave, isnt it true that a bike jetted too rich will likely overheat at some point? i thought it was something about the oil not getting burned all the way off in the cylinder..i was thinking that buildup would cause the overheating. i thought i read that somewhere??
  19. its a simple process. cut it behind the shock mount. take out as much as you want. align it back up and weld it up. ive done about 10 of them.
  20. none of those tires are what you want. any chance you can sell the gift card to someone and get the cash?
  21. those tires arent gonna do you any good. holeshots and razrs have a tendency to dig holes once in the soft stuff. i found that they also wear faster if you do any type of road riding. i highly recommend kenda knarly's or stock yfz450 tires. they are both lightweight, durable and reasonably priced. they both hook hard in a wide range of terrain. i have run almost every dirt tire there is, and these two came out on top. i am going to give these a shot next, and im sure they will be good tires as well. http://farmandsandtoys.com/partdetail.asp?partid=174
  22. what the fuck is it lately with the influx of new people who dont have even the slightest grasp on the english language or how it works? 97stage, i will give you a chance to redo your post. try using punctuation like periods and commas to separate your thoughts. i see one comma and one question mark. thats not enough. you could even use more than one paragraph. it will be easier to read and you will get more replies.
  23. look son, an attitude like that on this site will get you nowhere. you wanna clown on someone who was ignorant to his own bike, so ill clown on you for being ignorant to the english language. dont get all pissy because youre a retard and got called out on it.. so shape up or
  24. im just happy i can put a smile on someones face.
