nah, i was gonna clean it up. i never thought that it not being on would keep the fucking bike from running. ive never had that happen on any bike.

ive run a hydro clutch before.. i ended up switching back. they are alright, but you dont have the adjustability with it that you have with a regular cable.

its all good. i never wouldve thought. ive had it sitting there running before with no air filter. lesson learned though. yea, too simple. the fuckin air filter was sitting there on the work bench the whole time laughing at me.. mocking me.. youre tellin me.

well, i finally figured it out.. my air filter wasnt on. i guess it was getting too much air. its weird though, because i know ive run it before with no filter on it.. i knew it was something stupid.. i rechecked the cams and they were right on.. i had planned to clean the filter so i didnt bother putting it back on.. decided to give it a shot. sure as fuck it fired right up. fuckin 4 strokes are some finicky bastards. thanks for all the help and suggestions guys.. bobby, thanks for taking all my calls on this. you def helped reassure me my cams were set right and gave me other ideas as well.

on the banshee sucka!!! im sure as fuck gonna give it my all! i dont even own any other tires for it except for some 14 paddle haulers, and i doubt i would try running them.

it will fire and run.. so its got spark. it just wont stay running. timing is correct. i was on the phone with BBIII when i set it. i know its right. intake boots are fine. no tears. this bike ran 5 days ago, with no issues of the sort. they are all there. couple buckets fell out and i had to get them back in place. i checked the rest while i was at it.

i personally got rid of all the stock crap and only run a pro design kill switch. it is the only way to shut my bike off. then again, i dont run lights or any of that kinda shit.

banshee wiring systems are pretty simple. its not hard to wire in one switch and eliminate another. maybe they thought the toggle was cool, but wanted to keep the light switch in tact. i would imagine they just unhooked the factory kill switch and wired in a stupid toggle.

id use all you can. dont wanna chance the cylinder moving in any way.

spark plug is brand new. did the same thing with the old one.

im 99% sure. im gonna recheck. i was on the phone with BBIII when i set it. valve timing? i just set the flywheel to TDC and set the cams. i dont know. when i pull the spark plug and try to ground it and turn it over, i dont get any spark. it must be getting spark inside the head though because itll fire and run as long as im on the gas. the valves were just checked in october. one was out, but was fixed. this bike ranperfectly fine 5 days ago before i did the rebuild. it wont idle at all. it will only start and run if im on the throttle.

so youre saying you didnt have good results with cut kendas? ive never had a bad review of them. cannon runs his in dirt/grass drags and says they hook harder than anything hes ever used. i run them at hillclimbs and they hook harder than any tire ive used.. what was your tire pressure at?

its also possible the floats are just out of adjustment. they may not be adjusted to go up enough to shut the flow of fuel off.

float isnt sticking. ive had the bowl off to clean the jets. float was fine. tested fuel flow. everything working properly.
