  1. whats that?
  2. most drag ported motors start to make power at 6000 rpm on up. thats not useful if youre lugging around in the trails at 2 or 3k. if you ride mostly trails youd be much better off with a stump puller of a motor that will let you pull taller gearing in case you wanna do some dragging.
  3. local yamaha shop here does that too. they cut them and solder them. the one i had made lasted forever. not sure what kind you need to use though. something that will stick to cable might not be the same as something for copper.
  4. yes, that was my post. i wouldnt recommend running them at 1 PSI for anything other than straight line drags or hillclimbing. id stay between 2 and 4 for normal and trail riding. too much side ways motion at that low of a PSI could cause the tire to come off the bead.
  5. id start with 160 main and 48 pilot. that should get you pretty close. youll have to fine tune from there.
  6. your main needs to be up towards 160. id say try a 162 to be safe. pilot probably needs to be a 45 or 48. hope you didnt lean it out and put a hole in the top of the piston. did you do a WOT plug check at all?
  7. ahhh shit.. ill give you a half eaten bag of peanuts and a used trojan..
  8. id get a 14 and 15 for the front and a 40 and 42 for the rear. try this. it might help you get an idea of how fast youll be going in each gear with different sprocket combos. http://home.earthlink.net/~gellett/banshee.htm
  9. id rather do a girls section than a freestyle section.
  10. it wont weaken it any. thats how i have my nerfs mounted on my 450. those holes are probably for a heal guard setup. there was prolly a heal guard set you could buy for that particular a arm.
  11. did you change it after reading my tire PSI post or was this just something you decided to do?
  12. if its pics of hot chicks its ok.. otherwise, yea quoting pics is wack. that is fuckin ridiculous. no one does that. its not necessary.
  13. only one guy i know of and thats not enough to start a forum over!! them pics can stay in the images section.
  14. just shove them on there and drill a hole all the way through. then put a bolt through it secured with a nut on the other side. ive had to do that before with nerfs. the damn things hardly ever line up correctly.
  15. this is crap. this is not how you break in a motor. 1. 5 mins of idling. 2. 10 mins of cooling. 3. 5 mins of idling. 4. 10 mins of cooling. 5. 10 minute ride varying the throttle a little. 6. cool. 7. run the piss out of it. (provided jetting is good)
  16. nope, sounds like youre just jumping teeth. tighten it up a little more and see what happens.
  17. whats wrong with them??
  18. welcome man.
  19. WTF does that say?
  20. remember this.. running the biggest sprocket you can up front will close up the space between the chain and the case saver. i think in most cases, its the "balling" action of the chain that breaks the cases. if there is no room to ball up, in case of a thrown chain, it should just eject it instead of tearing something up.
  21. hahaha, well then why the fuck would he want it???? :yelrotflmao: pics of your girl or GTFO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. yea, they are just vents. you can run them anywhere. i prefer to run them straight down and out of the way.
  23. sucks dude.. hollar at NYUK. he might have one.
  24. have you tried getting a hold of motion pro to send you one?
