  1. i ran rockets for years and liked them a lot. i only recently switched to shearers because they were better suited and big bore for my 10mm cub motor. i preferred the rockets over cpi way back when i had a stock cyl 4mm setup. i think the rockets will come on sooner and make as much if not more power than the cpi.. at least thats how it was on my 4mm motor. however, good luck finding a set...
  2. are you sure its not part of the powerband assembly??
  3. i wouldnt let that dude suck on shaynes balls..
  4. i wouldnt let that dude put gas in my bike.
  5. cylinder studs can be found at most hardware stores. ive bought them at westlake(ace) hardware before.. or you could try a specialty fastener shop like fastenal. those case studs may be harder to find due to their length. might have to just order them.. im sure FAST carries all of it.
  6. i wouldnt let this builder clown put chain lube on my bike..
  7. sound like you need to switch builders. that guy doesnt have a clue what hes talking about.
  8. i run mine narrow. LSR axle with douglas rims flipped so that it narrows mine up.
  9. fuel.. i was typing at the speed of light.. yea, i figured it should have spark. it did fire once, so im thinking something isnt quite right. i fuckin hate working on 4 strokes.
  10. pulled the motor. shook it a little and out pops the fuckin clip.. :: after some bullshit and a couple phone calls to BBIII, i got it back together. just wont start up. fired up once but died. is it normal on a 4 stroke to not see spark when you check it grounded to the outside of the cylinder? i think i have a spark issue. got furl, got air, but didnt get spark on the outside of the cylinder. causes on this overly complicated big carbed 450's??
  11. i didnt understand a word of that. im confused as all hell.
  12. ill check it again tomorrow. i looked that head over pretty well, but maybe i missed it. i hope anyway..
  13. pretty sure hes in the porn industry.. as a fluffer for gay porn shoots. isnt that why he had vaseline earlier?
  14. if you find it, i will come..
  15. its all good man.. more time to get jacked and tan!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. im gonna give you guys until tomorrow at 8 PM CST to get this shit resolved. sheefreak wants 170 bucks. do i hear a counteroffer from utley? i want this fucking bullshit resolved or im bootin both you fools off the island.
  17. ive looked everywhere.. its either not there, or its in the case.. guess im gonna have to take it a fuckin part.
  18. yo dogg, chill out. i dont think meat was getting on you about why you posted it here. i wondered the same thing myself. this couldve gone into the general off topic so people could see it and discuss it. thats how i took it anyway.. oh yea, youre from texas though! haha jk man.. by the way, what kinda work were you doing?
  19. that price for the banshee is way high. they are a dime a dozen these days. no sense spending that kinda money on a stock one. for another grand you can almost buy a fully setup drag bike.
  20. no its still in the frame. i was trying to avoid tearing it apart. is it possible to put 10 hours on it and that cam not move? i mean, seems unlikely to me that it would just sit still and not go anywhere, but i swear i looked for it and didnt see it.. then i was kinda paranoid, thinking it was there but i missed it when i thought i heard something drop.. it couldve been the chain for a split second for all i know. whats back behind the crank? wouldnt it drop down to the very bottom if it got behind there??
  21. so i decided today to go ahead and rebuild the 450. its been 3 years on stock piston.. so i get everything apart and i take off the intake cam guide, holder, whatever you call it.. i look for the clip but i do not see it. i mean not on the cam and not on the guide.. im thinking wtf.. i had taken the exhaust off first and the clip was there, got it, no issue. so now im thinking wtf.. pull the head off, and i thought i heard something drop.. clip maybe? could be, but i never even saw the fuckin thing. so im like great, here we go.. so i go to the dealership and get the flywheel puller. there is a oil hole under it. ive stuck a magnet pretty deep in there and found nothing. im running out of options. if the clip had fallen into the crank area, where could it have gone? in by the gears? i know all those areas are connected because i shined a light in there and could see. i figured i would get it after pulling the flywheel, but no luck.. also, i had the valves run on it late last year.. is it possible the dealership couldve left the clip off and it not fucked anything up? i know thats not likely, but i just didnt see it when i pulled the guide off.. where could this fucking clip be? i really dont wanna have to split the cases, but dont wanna put it back together and fuck something up.. any ideas?
  22. its prolly the intake, not the carbs..
  23. i think youre doing the right thing.. get the 450. i have both, a banshee and 450.. the banshee serves its purpose, but the 450 is really more versatile with less money needed to make it run good. if i could only have one, and i didnt hillclimb competitively, i would go for the 450 no doubt.
  24. id buy the 450.. you can find cheap banshees all day long. thats a steal on the 450.
