ill toot the 450 horn also.. i have a 10mm cub banshee and know how to ride.. that said, ive beat tons of stock, modded, 4mm banshees on my stock yfz450. and look at it this way. you guys are bragging on beating STOCK yfz450's by a couple bike lengths.. if you have pipes, carbs, reeds, porting, better tires etc.. thats either pretty lame or the 450s are pretty fuckin fast.

anything can be done.. but can you weld, fabricate, etc? this is no small job. its a lot of custom work that has to be perfect, esp with this sort of setup. many of the snomo bikes run pretty complicated jack shaft setups with belt drives.. just saying.

word. i def wouldnt expect any big drops in temp just from a billet impeller. double word.

overflow lines should run down beside the carb. how many overflow lines are there on those carbs? i dont think it would make sense for them to be connected.

yo bro, you sure about that 75mm bore?? id run no smaller than a 33mm pwk on that setup. if you wanna run pump gas you better keep the compression down around 150. youll also need to watch it with the timing at +4. in all reality, youd gain a lot more by going ahead and running at least 50/50 pump/race fuel.. you can bump the timing up with no worries and get the compression up around 170.

what does it prove? it means i know what tires hook best. if i can get them to hook on a 10mm cub motor then they are good hooking tires.. and holeshots arent it! not one of the top 20 hillclimbers in the nation run holeshots.. thats what it proves!

make sure your coil is grounded properly. the two tabs it mounts to need to be bare metal.

thats laughable about holeshots. they are one of the least hooking tires ive ever run. im in the "hooking up" business and if holeshots were the heat, id run them..
