  1. the cable isnt stretching that much. something is going on with your clutch adjustment either at the lever or at the adjustment on the pressure plate. this only happens after extended periods of riding?
  2. anybody?
  3. so that makes them geniuses? same dudes who told you to get a 450r? and now youre right back on a banshee forum complaining about how your genius friends told you to get a slow ass 450r. yea, makes sense. for what you ride? everything i have seen a 450r do, a yfz450 can do better. you might be able to make that 450r fast, but its gonna take thousands, a lot of time and the reliability is going straight out the window. i dont know how many times ive heard people talking about their slow ass 450r, yet i hear stories all the time about basically stock yfz450's running right along 4mm banshee motors.
  4. should have bought a yfz450. they have a hard hit, kind of like a banshee has. they handle well and are pretty fuckin fast all stock. 450r's are just junk. they are slower than fuck and all the ones ive seen modded run like shit. by the way, your friends are idiots.
  5. how about a drag bike with a big triple motor?? kidding, but i have heard good things about the e-tons. blaster is always a good starter bike once shes old enough. they are cheap and hard to tear up.
  6. nice man. im not a fan of bumpers, but that one looks good.
  7. anyone have any? wanna try some on my 10mm cub.
  8. stick with wiseco. they are proven to be the best.
  9. i have powerbands for sale.. whatever color you want. shoot me $25 to my paypal and let me know what colors and ill send them out.
  10. welcome to HQ! if you need help with anything, feel free to ask.. do you have any video of you on your jet ski?
  11. id be very careful about letting a yamaha dealership tune my bike. chances are they used some spec jetting from the pipe company. this is very different from real world tuning.
  12. i got at least 10 mins of enjoyment out of that site.. fucking awesome.
  13. nice. post some pics of it when you get it.
  14. my opinion is that there are builders out there for a reason. i can take a motor apart blindfolded and know just about everything there is to know about banshees, but when it comes to porting i stick to a builder. it can make or break how your bike runs. you sure this is something you wanna tackle yourself?

im moving this to the wanted section for you..
  16. brandon, whats the price on these parts?
  17. send "dajogejr" here on HQ a PM. he should be able to help you.
  18. at sea level id prolly run it at about 160 or 162 main and 48 or 50 pilot. as far as 3500', your jets will be smaller than your sea level specs, im just not familiar with that high altitude jetting. id definitely start rich and work your way down. better to be safe than blow your shit up..
  19. the kick start side, which is the right side if youre sitting on the bike. all of your clutch components are on the kickstart side. the only things on the shifter side are the stator and sprocket.
  20. are you talking about from the bottom of the cylinders to the top of the case? if so, i think some guys just make a template by tracing the transfers on the cylinders.. then draw it out on the upper case. i tried to find a post on it, but didnt have any luck either.
  21. absolutely. otherwise, youll end up with an air leak.
  22. id prolly pull it apart and rebuild it with some wiseco pistons.
  23. sounds like you need to pull the clutch cover off and see whats going on in there. theres quite a few moving parts in there, so who knows but it sound like there might be an issue with the kicker gear.. if something broke, it could be lodged under the clutch basket. pull the side cover to check this.. here are some thing youll wanna do. 1. drain the tranny oil 2. drain the coolant 3. depending on your setup, it might be easier to take off the footpeg for access to lower bolts 4. take off the kick starter 5. take off the front coolant hose that should be about it. be careful not to lose anything that may come out once you pull the cover off.
  24. as long as both tires are made for a 9" rim, yes they will fit.
