  1. Jeff is on vacation and will be back October 2.
  2. They're 17.25". If I said earlier they were 19" it was just an assumption. I put them on last night and measured them. 17.25" for sure.
  3. I am sending my shocks back tomorrow. They're going to swap them out for 17.25" shocks. I am not convinced those are long enough but I guess we will see. For now I put my 17.25" Stage 5 Elkas on and there's no way they're going to hit. The rezzie is also an inch shorter.
  4. I have never had an issue bleeding a line, even an extended one. I guess my next step is taking the rear caliper apart. The master cylinder is put together right. Something must be blocking the flow in the caliper itself. It seems like it's sucking, but there's no way it can be.. Bleeding the rear brake line is about a 3 minute process with a Mityvac. If you don't have one, I suggest spending $40 and getting one.
  5. OK, so I have done this total rebuild. Last fucking thing I have to do is bleed the rear line. I rebuilt all three calipers. The bled the fronts in about 5 minutes with my Mityvac. For some reason, the fucking rear won't do shit. I tried the Mityvac. I even bought a new one thinking it was fucked up. I have taken the master cylinder apart and everything looks good per the Clymers. Any ideas on why in the fuck it is taking me longer to bleed the rear line than it has to put the whole bike together? It has to be something stupid that I am overlooking.
  6. I have been trying to tell these fags for years. Goats kick ass.
  7. When I run the name in Admin it doesn't turn up anything.
  8. IP doesn't match anyone else.
  9. These are the exact arms.. http://www.laegerracing.com/component/virtuemart/13/1/a-arms/long-travel-a-arms-detail?Itemid=0 Fox isn't going to tell you anything. They aren't going to know what a-arms their shocks fit. If Laeger is telling you that 17.25" Fox Evols will work, they are wrong.
  10. For you guys that want stainless pegs, our very own sponsor Richie Petty builds some bad ass stainless pegs. They're very reasonably priced. Just shoot him a PM.
  11. I'm not sure if they're +1 forward but they're definitely +2 out. I haven't talked to anyone yet.
  12. No, I haven't. Those are actually on my Hybrid bike with the 450r chassis. I am not even sure they will bolt up. I did pull some measurements tonight and the Fox rezzie hangs an inch lower than the Elka rezzie in relation to the top mount. I am fairly certain that I need an 18"+ shock to make my setup work properly.
  13. Upon further inspection today I am confident 17.25" Evols would hit the nut. I think if you go 18"+ you will be fine. Other shock rezzies may be different so I'd only use this in reference to the Evols. Looks like I'm going to see about erring my shocks swapped out. They've never been ridden on.
  14. Whose motor is it?
  15. I wanted them because they're 2.5 pounds lighter per shock. The point of my new build was to shed as much weight as possible. My Stage 5 Elkas on my Hybrid are bad ass.
  16. Yea, I'd be hesitant about what you order. I am going to pull one of my 19" Elkas off my Hybrid bike tomorrow. I think it'll bolt up. I think they got the shock length wrong on these arms.
  17. Nevermind.. I just found a bunch of pictures and I have them mounted up correctly. The jam nut goes on the wheel side and the lock nut goes on the shock side.
  18. I've already thought about that. They actually come with a jam nut, but I put it on the outside. Maybe they should be swapped?! Doesn't seem like the locknut should go on the outside but maybe it does. Anyone have these arms mounted up?!
  19. I just tonight noticed that the shock reservoirs are going to hit the nut on the inside of my Laeger +2 arms. My shocks are 16.25" long. Obviously, this is not the correct shock length. I am not sure 17.25" would even be enough. The rezzies are hitting long before full compression. I doubt another inch of shock length would relieve the problem.
  20. Terrible idea. Tell the chick to hit the road and keep the bike.
  21. He did, but that shit is TOP SECRET!!
  22. 158-162 main. 45 or 48 pilot. It will vary with temp and altitude.
  23. Simple. They're not balanced like car tires.
