    Big carbs and Shearers on a stock stroke motor will do that. Stock carbs would likely yield better results up top.

    You need to get some legit carbs ASAP before you burn it down. 156 main would be a Keihin style carb jet size. Most Keihin carbs I’ve run take 45-50 pilot and 155-165 main. So it’s probably not too far off.

    Fox Podium rear and Floats in the front. Never look back. If you opt to keep your OEM rear shock, you really don't need a revalve. I have run OEM with different springs on everything from +2 to +14 arms. What kind of budget are you looking at?

    Seems to me at that elevation, you probably don’t need a 30 pilot. Have you tried a 25 or 27.5. Here at 1,000’, 27.5 is most commonly used.

    Yes. I think I have spacers or washers between frame and shock and/or arm and shock.

    That’s something that happened quick most likely. Either a massive air leak or no fuel.
