  1. Thanks, will let him know. If anything else transpires I will be sure to report back. F&F
  2. I have a -2 Laeger with skid plate mounts being that short you can't put a PRM full skid plate on, but I do have a one fo the shorter AC/Moose/Pro Tech style on mine and have yet to cause any tab damage or any damage to the swinger by bottoming or any other hooligan antics. I have heard good reports on Eyeball as well as Lonestar,Roll. I just purchased a set of +2 +1 arms from JD Performance (John used to work for Mark Laeger, he build ALL of Laeger frames) I would also check out his quad tube swing arms. John does great work and his customer service is IMHO 2nd to none I have personaly seen MANY Fireball (*****see foot note) manufactured swing arms cracked/broken around the pivot, but in fairness to FB......most bikes were ridden very hard and a few were Moto'd ****Duncan, Janssen, ASR and quite a few others that slip my foggy memory
  3. My buddy has one that he tried to install, he told me the other day that his won't work correctly cause (this sounds silly) the TORS were removed. Does that make any sence ???? F&F
  4. I like that better than mine. Might have to move mine again when I tear it down. How much of a PITA was it to shorten that wire harness ?
  5. I cut my mount off the sub frame and re welded it right under the rear gas tank mounts. F&F
  6. Take your reservoir cap off to allow the fluid to flow back.
  7. +1 for noss head Support those who support us.
  8. I am looking for blue or black radiator plastic. I do not need the tank plastic or the grill, just the rad plastic. Prefer OE, but will take aftermarket if the grill is included. Thanks F&F
  9. Well I never dyno'd my engine, but I know Arlin@LRD swears by boost ports on Banshee engines. Not saying that .25hp gain isn't correct but I do know that LRD has made some fairly stout banshee engines. F&F
  10. Some were I have the part numbers for the steels and fibers I use, there all OE Yamaha. If memory serves me correct there from a mid 80's 750cc Yamaha street bike. I believe this is also what Toomey sells for a Banshee clutch kit also. F&F
  11. If you have boost ports added to your Cyl's then I believe that reed spacers help get air into them by backing up the reeds. I don't have any dyno sheets to prove, but its what I was told and it does make sense. F&F
  12. I have AC pro pegs that are relocated, there down a inch and back 2 inches. Pro Design makes a short shifter for the banshee or you can use a Blaster Hinson makes the short brake pedal This set up really makes the banshee more tall person friendly. F&F
  13. It depends on the manufacture, arms that have heims have the heims angled to the proper spindle angle via the A arm. Some ball joint arms have the end of the ball joint angled to match the spindle angle. Laeger JD Burgard I think Hydrodynamics F&F
  14. I also have the complete 8 plate Hinson set up: basket, inner hub and pressure plate. My steels and fibers are from a 750cc yamaha street bike (at least thats what I was told) I do have the part numbers for both written down some were if someone wants to cross reference. As for wear so far they show very little wear, but.................mucho mucho $$$$ F&F
  15. No longer needed. Thanks to all that helped. F&F
  16. Sure thing, If I can find a set of yzf450 spindles calipers and hubs I will have my current 1996 year for sale also.
  17. I have a older set, they take the old(larger style) calipers
  18. Plastic ??? are you talking about the bushings that go in the end of were the arms mount ???? If so thats not what I need. I need the 2 metal sleeves that go in the upper arms there approx. 5ish inches long they go in between the plastic/delrin bushings. Each upper arm has 1 and I need both. I know I had mine at one time, but some how I think they got shit canned. F&F
  19. I have one, came off my bike. I upgraded to a dual piston 250r caliper. F&F
  20. I "think" I shit canned mine years ago and now need them again. Would need both for the left and right side. F&F
  21. Show me a picture of the intakes and the transfers. I might be interested. Thanks F&F
  22. If anyone is looking for a nice used PRM swinger skid plate I have the ".250 Z swingarm plate" no busted welds, just had to shave the inside a bit were the mounts slide into it. F&F
  23. MIG welding still uses a "arc" to weld so telling him to get a MIG vs arc welding is redundant. MIG is GMAW and Stick welding is SMAW and TIG is GTAW But, I concur that using a MIG would be better suited for the welding your doing. If you never TIG welded I would stay away from using that unless your paying someone to do it for you. It tends to need the most talent. F&F
