The heims kept falling apart on a diff test quad so the pins were tig welded (small tack) on my arms to the spherical ball part of the bearing, so there not really replaceable any longer. The heims are coverd so there shoudn't be the wear issue that other exposed heims get thus why I didn't really bark to loud when that was suggested as the method to fix the issues. I was also promised when a newer updated removable heim style Banshee LT arm was available that I would recieve a set free of charge. But that never happened, even though newer style arms were developed, marketed and sold. I also had a hard time getting the camber/caster/toe set to were I like it. For someone else who likes to set there front end diff, it might work perfect for them Thus why I said if someone wanted to buy the shocks from me, I would almost throw the arms in as a free bee. Shocks were set up for a 175-200lbs person B or C class from what I remember from the 3 rides, the shocks were VERY progressive, super soft initially and then resisted bottoming at the end of the stroke. This is my 3rd set of Elka's and NOT my last, I would have to say out of the 2 other pair I had, these are by far the most progressive, very smooth yet won't bottom out. F&F

What brand arms ? Heims or Ball joints ? I kinda have my eye on some diff arms already so I would prefer cash, but am open to any other trades, even non quad related. What weight were the shocks set up for ?

Here is my dilemma I have one of the very first +3 +1 (Fireball) Janssen Racing LT front end kits with the best non-elite Elka's money can buy. Quad rate long travel comp and rebound remote rezzy's ZPL with SSD Paid $750 pre-production price for the arms and about $1500 for the shocks. I am not happy with the arms, shocks are great but since I got these arms the design and some of the components have been changed, since mine were basically prototypes Option 1 do I buy a new set of Fireball LT arms because I have the shocks already ? Option 2 do I sell the shocks and throw the arms in for free to another banshee guy and just buy a new set of traditional after market A-arms/ shocks Option 3 do I sell the shocks to a YFZ/Raptor guy for there A arm set up and shit can the arms and just buy a traditional after market A arm/shock set up. The shocks and A arms were put on my bike about 3yrs ago and only rode 3 times before the bike went into hibernation, so there basically brand new with zero flaws. I also have the Elka LT shock covers to go with them. Open to all offers and opinions. I believe these shocks will work on many diff brand LT set up's as long as you get the upper and lower spacing correct for the shock mounts for that manufacture and model If I remember right the shocks are 19ish inches long. The rear shock might also be forsale also since I put the quad into hibernation and me getting hurt. My ass has gained a conservative 50lbs so its gonna be soft for me. Rear shock is a Elka dual rate remote rezzy comp & rebound ZPL SSD it also has 3 rides on it before hibernation. So if someone is interested in a complete high end suspension, it might all be forsale When the quad was stored it was on a ATV stand so the springs would not take a "set" and sag. Flash and Flare

Read up, I replied a few days ago its a L400. bought it off eBay without any OS or programs. I originally bought it with the intent of only using it for Vag-Com for the dub, Power Commander maps for the bike and there was talk of a laptop interface for my EFI box that I have on my sled. But after realizing how convenient it was to just keep it next to the lazy boy I ended up using that 95% of the time. Fast forward to about 2 months ago, one dark morning I hooked the power cord with my foot as I was walking by and yanked it off the end table and it crashed on the floor. Broke the bottom case and the hinge on the right hand side. So I duct taped it all up and was using it perfect till about 2 weeks ago, the left side hinge broke through the already broken bottom case plastic and it took out the ribbon for the display. I didn't loose much, since just before it fell on the floor I wiped Win2000 NT Pro off it and put WinXP Pro on it any info that I needed was taken off during the HD wiping session. I might sell the PCMI WiFi card out of it.

Were there cooling issues with the older IMS 5.6gal. tanks that did not have the vents molded into the side like the OE tank cover did ? F&F

If you decide to go with some LT arms from one of the Fireball racing retailers, I got a set of shocks that go with them. Approximate 19inch shock, Elka quad rate with SSD, Comp, Rebound, Elka shock covers. Basicly brand new, only made a few passes on them. Best offer on the shocks. I have arms also, but not sure about selling them, because there pre-production prototype's I have the arms with the tie rods, with encapsulated Heims. Camber/Castor adjustable. No spindle reaming required they are +3 +1's F&F

If it don't sell to the first guy to reply here, let me know. I bought a black IMS with the intent of using it with black plastics but I just picked up a full set of YZ blue so your tank would suit me better. I would be selling my black IMS if I got yours. I also have a brand new Pass more gas petcock (I said "petcock") in the tool box just waiting for fuel. Keep in touch F&F

Well I have noticed that the tires really like to toe in on full drop out due to the tie rod ends starting to bind, if the YFZ spindles allow for more motion, then I would assume that *some* of the bumpsteer would be eliminated. I been out of the banshee loop for over 3yrs so if my thinking is incorrect, please someone point me in the right direction. (laughing at myself) F&F

So, could it be possible that this might, just maybe be a semi-bandaid to the crazy bumpsteer in the long travel front ends ? Can we hope ?????? F&F
