I got a full set of Hiper Tech 3's with red rings Rears are 21x11x9 Kenda Gnarlys Fronts are 22x5x10 Kenda Klaw XCFs One front tire had a stick poke the side and I just plugged it, was gonna put a patch on inside but never got around to it. Been fine ever since. Tread is 90% or better. Item location is in Wisconsin, possible delivery or meeting someone but not until paid in FULL ! I have the ability to ship these. PayPal, Postal MO, Cash. Will consider trades of the following Guns Arctic Cat collectibles Arctic Cat die cast 1:18 snowmobiles. I will sell as a set or just fronts or rears separate. (but would prefer selling the rears before the fronts) Will separate tires from rims also. $380 for the rears with tires/$330 without tires $350 for the fronts with tires/$300 without tires $700 if you buy the full set. email me at [email protected] or text or call me at (920)229-8005 Thx F&F

Back in the day..........early in the HQ infancy it was determined that the banshee's OE ergonomics were designed for a small framed person, 5' 7" was the optimal height.

Great idea on the double shifter, would be great for winter riding with boots. As for the pegs or nerfs in alternate location, I have a pair of AC Pro Peg nerf bars that have the pegs lowered 2" and moved back 1" makes a huge diff in how the ergonomics of the quad feel.

Magura hydro shorty, with 3 HD springs and 3 medium springs. No slippage due to running a Hinson 8 plate set up. Can pull with 2 or 3 fingers

Chariot is a one piece with removable domes and the Noss is a 2 piecer. So there is one less place for a "potential" leak. Does anyone know when Noss changed there design to direct/force water down into the cyl around the E-port ?

taller bars for the shee
Flash and Flare replied to vegas banshee's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I am 6' 2" and I got a +3.75 (up) and its (forward) I think 1 or 1.5"stem and KTM bend bars. Perfect for me. I also got relocated propeg nerfbars, those also made it a more "roomier" ride. The Propeg nerfs are down 2" and back 1" If anyone isinterested, the +3.75 stem is for sale. -
I was just down there last Sunday. Don't feel bad about not being around in the last 10yrs. I parked/stored the banshee Sept 19th 2003 and I got it out end of last summer and did a few hot laps around the house. This summer I actually got it out and rode it, managed to get it in a gear higher than 3rd (small yard don't allow for 4th gear power slides) Well I got me a riding companion, she isn't the only reason I finally took it off the stand and fired it up, but its the main reason. Good to see your alive and still kicking. Flash and Flare

Dual Piston Brakes

Ya I am sure the rear is fine with upgraded fronts, but in true fashion of a banshee modder, it only seemed fair to swap out the rear for something that wasn't OE. -

Nothing to the rotor, its just that small OD. (banshee bolt pattern and ID with the OD being the stock size for a 250r) The caliper bolted right to a 250r brake stay that will work on any banshee round house swinger. I did have to use a rotary tool and remove some aluminum material from the belly of the caliper mount to get the clearance that I needed and I had to either get thicker stand off for the mounting bolts or I had to shave them down. Cant remember now, I did this back in 2002 -

the 250r is dual piston vs the banshee is a single. Also that rotor is a custom stainless unit, its got a banshee ID and bolt pattern with the 250r OD -
Dual Piston Brakes

more stopping power, the OE brakes are barely adequete for a stock banshee let alone anything with a few mods. I did this many moons ago. When I started upgrading the brakes I was gonna have a set of arms made to accept 400ex spindles so I could have bigger brakes up front also. (note before the 450 craze) Now that some days and nights........ok years have passed and we all know that the 450 front calipers are a direct swap to the banshee spindles I went that route instead of the custom arms. F&F PS. i know that the rear caliper is not the main stopping source, but I felt obligated to change it out since the rest of the bike has been modded in some way.........lol -

I have a 250r rear caliper on my banshee. -
I also have hardkor fronts, my hipers have integrated rear hubs into the rims so..... Hey Firehead, those rear hubs, those early build or late build units ? I know Kurt pulled the first ones off production cause they were failing. F&F

I have had my Magura Hydro clutch for over 5yrs without any issues. I have the optional stainless line but I have yet to install it. Mine pulls the case clutch lever well past the case markings. I do however keep a MSR Raptor and a newish Motion Pro cable in the tool box for that "just in case" scenerio that I always seem to fall prey to. Sometimes if it weren't for bad luck I would have no luck at all. F&F

I thought a twist was what I wanted after buying my banshe.............BOY WAS I WRONG. It may work well for some, but I almost died a few times. Twist works great on bikes cause you can lean with the bike, quad don't lean like a bike and thats were it got me. I know run a 250r thumb throttle with cut springs, just carefull with cutting springs, the air velocity can keep the slides open when you let off if you cut to much off. F&F
