Pretty pimp really, I'm not sure who all does all their graphic work but they always got some pretty slick shit. Actually a buddy just stopped in & said he knows a guy down there that's got that whole paved area just south of the south camp entrance rented that we can crash at...so as of now that's the plan, but ya never know.

may have welded your clutch ball & rod, get yourself a clymers & take the clutch cover off & see what's up. You may just have a blown clutch, which would be a lot better than if you've welded the ball & rod together.

1st stator that crapped out it did just that, crapped out...no warning symptoms at all, I'd just been out ripping around, stopped for a smoke & didn't get it started until a new stator was installed. Last stator...it would idle, rev up to about 3/4 throttle & then fall on it's face,...would spit, sputter, backfire here & there out of either side. I checked/swapped, cleaned, recleaned, everything, and I mean everything, coil, cdi, everything but the stator. I was about to take it to the damn stealer, sad huh. But I said screw it, I was wanting to advance the timing anyway, hadn't had luck with the stock stator so I decided to try a RickyStator stock wattage stator on an adjustable plate. Installed it, advanced the timing +4 and shee's been scream'n since.

Should be alright,...I don't have my bible on me but I believe it specs .017-.020; someone correct me if I'm wrong. What's your stator look like? Here's a pic of my 2nd stock stator that went to chit after about roughly 30hrs...been running a RS stator since without any issues.

Yeah...like he said,...it's a PITA if you and can lead to chipping a bit. I would just let them plug them, would be your best bet. Or ask around & see what people use and say is the best, buy some and do it yourself. If it were me though, I would just let them do it & make sure they do it right. Unless they don't have a clue WTF they're really doing, you should be just fine.

Does sound like it could be a stator...crank seal I don't think so, you blowing oil anywhere? When at WOT does it backfire at all?Sputter?Shit all over itself? How about idle, up to WOT how does shee perform? May get you some carb cleaner & check for some air leaks too.
