Nah...just too much arguing was going on; she needed/had to realize there is more to the world than just me...if that makes sense. yeah...my buddy zephead400ex had the same shit happen a few months ago. They had to go through his dick, through the sac, and into his kidneys...break the bitch, pull it out...and then had to leave strings hanging out his good buddy for a week as a stint or whatever so all the cartlige & torn tissue didn't heal together & close shit off. He had it 100x worse than me, I thank God mine came out on there own.

Meat ran into the same problems before not too awful long ago if I remember correctly. But I hear ya,...I haven't had any issues with the RS stator on the adjustable plate yet after about 20hrs...but even still, I'd buy 2 of the RS stators before I buy another 300 oem stator.

I hear that...hopefully those stones are a thing of the past; but the painkillers are still part of the present. I'm hoping to be able to take of that friday & actually get there on Thursday evening; the 21st. If not it will be sometime afternoon/early evening on Friday. Not sure on the spots, really will probably depend on the weather...also got to thinking, anyone know when Ok's 'fall break' is? If it's that weekend it may be a bit busy but I don't see it being packed...I don't think finding a spot should be a problem, if you need electrical hookups ya may have some issues if ya get there Saturday; but that's going to depend on where you want to camp, but there's really no telling.

Me 2...well I did, haven't had any coffee since last Monday. I'd drink a cup of coffee every morning...then water throughout the rest of the day, until I got home...then beer. Now I'm just drinking water, gatorade, and cranberry juice. Going to 'try' and hold off on the beer for this week at least. Kinda hard to explain too...but if one looks they will see what you're referring to. If you have a clymers it will help you out. Just make sure you leave about 1/8 to 1/4" play where the cable attaches...you should be able to move it just a bit down there; this will help you to not weld the clutch ball & rod together and will give you better clutch life & performance.

Bent shift forks maybe? Have you checked the shift shaft to see if it's somehow getting bound up on the shift star?

Really. Well isn't that some ironic chit there. Maybe it is the seeds? Hopefully I'm threw with them now though, I'm just glad they came out on their own & that I didn't have to have them extracted through my pride.

I'd check for 1. Clogged jet 2. Air leak 3. reeds 4. stator

Dunno man, if all your other gears are working ok; I think it'd be safe to say you've hosed 2nd gear...may just have to tear into it and see what you find.

Get yourself a clymer manual, you will not regret it. It will walk you through the carbs, and anything else pretty much. Couldn't even tell you how many times that manual has saved my arse.

Well, the doc said to stay away from beer for a couple/few weeks. He seems to think that a calcium build-up was probably caused by them...in relation to the massive amounts of CMB's I consume. For my girl it's an alright bike...would like the reverse though for when I take it to the bathrooms. But seriously, if you get a good full exhaust system, air filter, & jetting...against a Z with the same mods, I don't see the Z hanging. Don't have anything against the Z's though...stock for stock currently I'd probably rather have a Z400 myself. The 400 is a lot of fun though, good trail bike & fun to play on; definately one of the best wheelie quads I've owned...just behind the good 'ol 200SX!

Have you ever farted outside when it was really windy & tried to smell it? That would probably yield the same results as the stuff you're talking about...probably not gunna be what you thought. I wouldn't mess with it man, have you ever checked your compression? I see what ya mean after 13yrs & all, but if your compression is low...don't count on a liquid substance 'seen on tv' to fix ya up and cure the problem.

Well it looks like you've covered your basis...I was going to suggest checking the pickup coil on your stator after the flywheel came loose, but I see you've already replaced it so that's out of the question; but did you make sure the gap on the pickup coil was adjusted properly? Other than that, almost sounds like a jetting/clogged jet issue.
