Too many people know Led Zeppelin by radio play...which is bullshit, Stairway & Heartbreaker are not songs I'd tell a new zep listener to check out...I always suggest the 3rd album, anything other than IV really. The 4th album is good, but you really need to check out the other albums, fo shizzle. OR get 'How The West Was Won" ---Live & it doesn't get any better than live Zeppelin. Party on! LedoftheZep

Sounds to me like a clogged left main. If they're stock carbs, I don't know that you can switch them around...I wouldn't anyway...plus your choke tube wouldn't connect. Never heard of switching stock carbs.

I too mix my gas 40:1, with Castor927...have for over 4 years now & I'm still running the stock topend & everything...have the head milled .030 though. I'd say you're definately on the right track going up on the mains, may even be able to go up some more. Do a plug chop & take a look to see...as far as the timing, I wouldn't recommend going over +4 unless it's an all out drag bike or something nutty like that. +11, can't say I've ever heard anyone going that far.
