  1. i did and i didnt prep the frame right and it turned out 6/10 after riding it a bit bc i had never rattled a frame before. had i prepped the frame right it would have been a lot better. literally the cheapest place i could find in michigan was in gladwin for PC. 250$ to get everything sand blasted and coated. everything else was well above 500 for just powder
  2. ben you know i love you, but rustoleum primer and spray paint is cheap as hell lol will prolly only need to spend like 40 bucks max to properly do the frame with primer , spray and clear. prep work on the frame will determine how well it turns out though
  3. same on the rubbing mine did it too , it has either A fixed it self or B impending doom is near for my mtr
  4. Just bent the arm or grind the nut down on the bowl. one or both.
  5. why did you take your motor apart?
  6. Pretty sure Keihin is Japanese. But the point is, knockoffs hurt everyone. The chinese ones are shit quality. yeah im wrong on that one, there is a keihin plant in michigan though towards the east side of the state.
  7. idk they were red, ran it in the middle now that i think of it. and yes 37.5, when i had it dynod we had a 35 and it was a tad on the lean side, so i upped it but in the summer it would have been fine. and yes skeet you are a captain, captain crunch.
  8. absolutely needs to be known that way the cheapos can buy even more chinese products and instead of from an american made company
  9. The 35s with slps will still give good bottom end, especially if you are running higher compression with race fuel numbers. But I ran 35s with race fuel and the mpg was not ideal, I ran a pingel and ran outta gas in the trails a handful of times. I switched to stock carbs and pump gas and I tell ya, it was way more practical for the type of riding you are going to be doing. Id stick the the smaller carbs because the bottom end was much more responsive with the smaller carbs, you will be happy with the 28s and still be able to smoke most average joes play dragging. As far as jetting, with my 35s and race fuel (170+ psi) I was at 52 pilot, 138 main (small i know) dont start this low if you go this route, and cel needle in the 3rd or 4th position dont remember. Stock carbs was 37.5 pilot, 350-370 main, vitos needle in the middle or 4th. edit: I now run their 7 mil setup with 35mm carbs. not much more to $build$ minus the more expensive supporting mods. gas mileage same story
  10. I can only imagine how clean your house is 😁
  11. my opinion is that i would never run knock offs because ive heard too many things about them not running right, especially keihin knock offs. Run em, if they suck, hopefully the builder will take care of you. cross that bridge once you get there

  14. I AM A HQ CAPTAIN, YOU ARE A SOLDIER.
  15. i usually just let them burn through because i dont care also dont listen to me
  16. wtf is that thing after the lock nut on the clutch hub?? i used a hinson without any issues in the past, but im sure youve figured it out by now, that the order of operations for the clutch is: big washer, basket bushing, clutch basket, big washer again, clutch hub (boss), lock washer and nut, clutch pack, pressure plate with springs and bolts.
  17. that no name or number jet stuff is a not ideal. a 27.5 (genuine mikuni jet) pilot should be about where you are at, could prolly use a stock pilot in the humid summer. edit: looks like dano beat me to it.
  18. the only way im spending that amount of money on racefuel is if im drag racing, other wise its gone pretty fast and im not willing to pay that much lol
  19. no if the canker sore is bad it would leek air no good
  20. turn both air screw in a full turn or bottom it out after it warms up to temp, if both pipes are getting hot its not a clogged pilot, if it doesnt die after you bottom it out, up the pilot
  21. its close to that right now where I am at. VP is just so expensive id never run it. 75+ for 5 gallons is just stupid to me, unless i was drag racing, it wouldnt make sense. ive been reading more about 100LL and just thought id wanna try it and see
  22. I have bought and sold stuff from and to 97screamer buy with confidence sir. I dont think i have much, but ill check, i think all i got extra is a billet grill and a rear brake setup
  23. needs more fuel, where is your air fuel screw at? you likely need a bigger pilot by a size or 2
  24. true that, it was insane how much better the gas mileage was going from 35s to stockers on my old setup
