  1. I just got a +4 swinger and I have +2 arms. I love it in the woods and perfect for hill climbs if you do any.
  2. Looming for pipes in good shape for a reasonable price.
  3. That's right Deadbeat. I'd have you calling me daddy by the end of the weekend girl. Clown^. Mommy gave you money so you can be a big shot member on hq huh... baby bitch she probably still wipes you ass. Go get your milk
  4. I'll be up there next weekend. Been going for 3 years now and I had yet to see state troopers/undercovers on side by sides. Seen them sitting at the parking alot at the bottom bottom but that's it. We camp deep and shoot guns. Never had a problem fingers crossed.
  5. It took me three weeks to get everything I mentioned done. Porting and boring was the most of my down time. 2 stroke are very easy to rebuild. I just did a vito billet water impeller and over sized radiator. My stock impeller was in very good shape. The plastic seemed very durable. Kinda hard to believe they melt and break from what guys say on here. I did it just because. You would cook the motor before that even started to melt but the upgraded one seems to have a better flow design. I got a new bearing and seal for it also. Yea summer is around the corner man but you got time bro. I'd do it now. This way you got a nice reliable shee and with some balls. I beat a brand new trx450 with that hrc kit - cams blah blah. I was pulling on him. I had my paddles on hehe! Lol. Good luck with the build
  6. Jetting sounds right if the quad is completely stock with pipes. You need to do a plug chop to know for sure. There a tread about reading plugs and jetting correctly. Since you have the cylinders off I would stick a magnet in the crank case to see if you have any metal pieces from the piston in there. We are the same elevation. My build is not to extreme. I think you should do what I did. Get new toomy t5 or t6 pipes and k&n filter set up. V2 or v4 reeds. Get you cylinders bored to the next size up and a port job. I sent mine to F.A.S.T.. Take the stock head to a machine shop and have them cut .030 to .035 off to raise compression a little. I would say buy a cool head with interchangeable domes but there's no need if you don't plan on running race gas to be honest. USE Wiseco pistons. I'd also put new wrist pin bearings and wrist pins in also just because. Get a adjustable stator and go +4 degrees timing. Start with a 330 main cause that's what I have in mine now. It a little rich but not by much. That's what I'd do. I love my shee. She's not the fastest for sure but for all around performance it's definitely perfect.
  7. I tried looking for the thread but i cant find it. I thought it would have been pinned. Look on youtube. im pretty sure theres a video on there that shows you how to install the kit and as far as i know, adjusting it also. I use youtube all the time if im not sure. Sometimes its better then just reading. these guys on hear answer questions that are already talked about in threads. just have to find them bro.
  8. Theres a whole thread on here that tells you exactly how to install the kit and sync the kit. Thats why no one will help you most likely.
  9. I ride with a bunch of bums. Anyone planning on setting something up for my area. I'll be riding in trevorton pa coal mine April 4 if any of yous would want to go. I camp out from Thursday to sunday. Beers I'm bringing a grill so if anyone want to cook.
  10. Yea it advanced 4 degrees, f.a.s.t. dune race port. Milled head .030 330 mains 93pump. It's pretty quick for what it is on pump. That's why I'm torn between the +4 and +6. Rt9 climbs are easy for it now but trevorton has huge climbs so with the paddles on I'm worried about lifting.
  11. Im about to buy an extended swing arm. I am torn between +4 and +6. I ride alot in trevorton pa and do alot of hill climbs and some dune climbs at rt9 in jersey. Would a +4 be enough for my shee not to come up on me on the hills or should i get the +6?? I do have sand star paddles for it which i will be running. I also trail ride too..
  12. Where do you get av fuel at? I'm in the philly area.
  13. Damit. I would buy it if I rode in sand but the coal minds i ride on have some big rocks and i really dont want to deal with bending the brake rotor, sproket or anything else. Ive seen it happen too many times. How much were you trying to get for it? if its a good price ill take the risk but if you want alot for it then its not worth me taking the chance.
  14. Im trying to buy one with the skid plate mounts and if possible with the round carrier assembly complete. Any sponsors that have any deals pm me/ Thanks, Derrick
  15. I have a good amount of mods done to mine, but nothing insane and i still run stock carbs with 330mains. when i first got mine the air screw on the tors was open more on the left then the right and the dude kinda said it was having the same problem you are having. Regardless, first thing i did when i got the bike was rip the carbs right out and fuel tank. Cleaned the piss out of them. Made sure the needle height on both carbs lifted up and could see both notches in the peak hole. Read up on syncing carbs. Will walk you right through it or just watch youtube video on it. I turned the air screw all the way in and started to back the screws out till each carb just barley started to lift at the same time. then you turn them a full turn and get your idle set. Make sure you are turning them both the same amount to get them perfecto. You can do a compression test just to see if it was rebuilt and where its at so you know how long you have till you seriously have to build it. Once my hit about 115 I ripped it apart and got some porting done since I was doing it anyway. But do what i said and see what happens. Basics my man. pm me and i can walk you through some things on the phone.
  16. Skeeter, What company makes a chromoly swing arm and carrier setup for 400??
  17. ok thanks. What size should i go with for coal hills. I would like to just use the +4 but I dont think i will be able to keep it down in the front. Different situation then that other guy that started this thread. I dont run paddles. I use 21 or 22in holeshot HD. Was +4 enough to keep it down?!
  18. Those Wolfe arms are pretty tempting from the looks of them. I already rebuilt the stock carrier. What makes the round carrier so special?!
  19. Whats so special about the round one compared to the stock one?! To me, I rather have the skid plate then bend the rotor and etc.. on a rock.
  20. http://www.wolfesmetalfabrication.com/Banshee.html I dont do any jumping really. Small shit if any. Nothing crazy. Wolfes swingarms allows you to keep the stock carrier. Check them out and tell me what you think!
  21. Im about to buy a swingarm myself from wolf fabrication and i do alot of hill climbing on coal mines. Would +6 be enough for me also?!
