  1. Yea I plug chopped my bike with 9es plugs cause Jeff told me to but everyone says it's too cold for my set up and my plug chop left only half a dark ring around it so someone said the plug is too cold anyway. I'm going back to Br8es and going to redo my chop
  2. I'm at the middle clip now and I put the 48 pilots in at a 1.5 out. It starts without the choke. As far as I know, that means I should put in 45 pilots and my pilots should be perfect????. 300ft
  3. I wouldn't say it's surging. Kind like a rich studder then hits. Struggles to get on the pipe. I'm dropping my cel needle to the middle clip. Putting a 48 pilot in. My compression is 148 right 150psi left.
  4. What needle and position of needle did you have your in?
  5. It's not coming on to the band smooth. It's loading up or something. Just wanted suggestions on what you guys thought. I'm thinking the needle is to rich. Was going to drop it to the middle clip. Maybe even drop the pilot. The bottom end seems weak for this setup. Maybe raise my compression will help. Im prettysure it's at 135+-. Going to test it tonight. You think that will help also? I'm not sure
  6. My shee is lagging or acting sluggish before I hit the band. Feels like it's loading up with fuel or something. Mods are- F.A.S.T. 421 4mill long rod serval with clean up port F.A.S.T. head 26cc domes .048 squish +4 timing V4reeds Single intakes no crossover CPIssb 35pwkS synced with tool 52 pilot 1.5 out, CEL needle 4th clip, and 160 mains 300ft 80deg What do you guys think...

  8. Looking for a rear shock that can handle my weight. Elka, works, peps etc... thanks
  9. Scratch the last thing I said. Ok so when I adjust the slack out of the cable so both carb slides are all the way up and lifting the same, when I use the sync tool to adjust the vacuum at idle and quarter throttle 2 to 3k rpms, won't that make my slides move out of sync if I already had them lifting at the same time or is the adjustments so small to get the vacuum the same on both sides that it won't make a difference.
  10. Thanks sleeper. I get them synced. Then back off on the throttle adjuster but it untreatable from the hand throttle housing before carbs go up. I guess that's what the taller adjusters are for. I think I'm thinking to hard about it cause I want it so perfect. Thanks again guys. I'm ordering the vacuum guage and exhaust hangers for the CPI's today from F.A.S.T..
  11. Yea I have them I think. Jeff was suppose to put them in before he sent them but he might have forgotten. I don't know how to tell. I'm going from stock carbs with tors to theses 35mm's so this is kinda new to me on how to set them and etc..
  12. I just started assembling my build and I understand how to sync the carbs at least on stock carbs but I don't know the right height to let the slide and needle come out to. Do I adjust the adjusters on the cap till the slides themselves are not visible at full throttle or what? Is there something I line the bottom of the slide on each side up to in the carb when I full throttle. I've never owned carbs like this.
  13. He wants to much. I'm going to go with jds at jds.
