  1. I had a very similar problem. I got a tusk clutch kit for about $45 and it solved the issue. Your clutch might be on its way out.
  2. sorry to brake it to ya but I found a guy to trade me his maxis for me bear claws.
  3. That's the problem. I want them..I don't need them haha. I am hoping you sell them by next week. So if someone wants to buy them, don't hold them on my part. But if they don't sell I'll take them
  4. Thanks man. If you still have them in a week I will take them
  5. just ordered the motion pro. Thanks for the help guys
  6. Are there any braided throttle cables for a thumb throttle? I have seen them for twist throttles. I do not have the tors either.
  7. Are you screwing the pressure plate on too tight? I put the screws on just a little too tight before and it would roll in gear. I think its 7 ft lbs. I just screwed them in till they stopped and left them like that. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THEM. They go in very easy. As soon as they stop, go to the next one.
  8. Just to clarify....the "one big o-ring" is actually 2 O-rings. The mod quad head doesn't use 1 o-ring that goes around the whole head. That's why I asked a "4th" time in a thread that head people that ran modquad heads
  9. sounds good. Hopefully I will get the chance to do that this weekend. Thanks for the help guys!
  10. what do you mean by the needle a clip richer? How do I do that?
  11. Update Carbs were both dirty and are now good and clean and it is running very good. Jet sizes were 260 main. There were 3 other jets that I was not sure what they were. One said 1.4 another said 1.6 and I believe it was the pilot that said 25. Not positive on that though. The carbs were both 28mm inside diameter. The jet sizes did not make much sense to me, but I am not very familiar with carbs at all. Do these numbers sound correct? As far as the clutch goes, The new clutch made a world of difference over the old. However, the ball bearing got fused to the clutch adjustment screw so I have to pick them up. My buddy picked up a compression tester, but it seemed like none of the adapters wanted to screw in. Also, they weren't nearly as long as the spark plugs. Are there testers just for quads?
