Such an extreme judgment of character in such a limited amount of time. I generally expect someone I've just met to wait 24 hours before telling me I'm a "sad excuse of a human being." Then its possibly justified!
Was he the guy that has the front end set up that will soak up a bowling ball size boulder at 60mph? I remember reading that but can't remember who said it. Seems like the type. :-)
I remember my old '89 model would do that when it was running low on fuel. Half a twist to RESERVE and it was all good. That one was pretty much completely stock though. TORS and everything still functional...
What type prosthesis have ya got? Maybe the solution to steering and staying mounted could be there. A buddy of mine has different ones for say bass fishing and cocking a crossbow.
Call the builder you're gonna use, tell him what ya have, your budget, and expectations. Send your motor and let him do the rest. :-) Quicker and easier.
I had an 89 back in 94... it wasn't horrible. Damn that was a long time ago! I gotta be on concrete to hook up enough to pull the front wheels. 150lbs ain't enough to plant the back tires in the dirt around here. Maybe with some paddle tires!
:-O MORE NORTH THAN VERMONT?!?!?!? :-) Yeah I'd go with the 96 for the a arms. Although you'll want to get some aftermarket arms and shocks eventually. That's the bad thing about a Banshee. Factory front end is SHIT. If ya do much jumping the stock shocks will either blow out or you'll break your arms. :-) Or both.
