  1. I've got a .410 with a Crimson Trace. I put it under the Charger on the bi-pod rail but it sat at too much of an angle to zero it. Laser is on the .410 for shooting slugs.
  2. They're selling the Take Down model that cheap? I wanted the regular Charger cause it's $100 cheaper but couldn't find one anywhere fairly close. I traded an Excel 22 magnum pistol for this one to a guy south of Little Rock.
  3. Not the most practical but its a lot of fun to shoot.
  4. There's always the Ruger GP100 .357 Magnum with 6" barrel. Perfect for whitetail or pigs in the trees. Or you could play "Hogs Vs. Tannerite".... (YouTube that one).
  5. I bought 200rds from a buddy's dad. Surplus he said he got for %100. I asked him the other day where he got it..... "Fuck that was 10 years ago!" And I bought my Mosin for $185 from a guy in Brookland AR.
  6. Yeah! I had a 1941 Numbers matching Russian model with the cleaning kit. Think I gave $185 back in the winter. Loud sumbitch! The real bitch of it is the corrosive powder. Ammo is cheap online. Get 1000rd spam can for $100. Archangel makes a wild tactical stock for em.
  7. There's plenty .17WSM ammo. Savage B.Mag is pretty wicked for a rimfire. As long as ya get the SS bull barrel. The sporter barrel has a bullwhip effect happening. .223 ammo is plentiful and priced very reasonable.
  8. I'd say you'll probably blow the shocks out before bending the J-arms. They'll bend a few minutes after though.
  9. I've used a heat gun on mine. If you have any mud stains, ya wanna be sure to get those cleaned off whatever it takes. Wet sanding and the heat gun will gloss it back.
  10. I could use a running motor... Is it stock?
  11. I've had pods fall off with narrow hose clamps. Plain old auto parts hose clamps seem to hold. I've got a 2-1 too but I rarely use it because its a bastard to get on and hopefully not be sucking dirt at a joint.
  12. Speaking of lazy... the guy I got my Banshee from said he put a quart of Castor in 5 gallons. I'd find that hard to believe if it weren't for the dripping silencers.
  13. Shiiiiit... I'd ride the piss out of it til they break or fall off. Ya know as soon as ya slap on another pair, something will happen and they'll get thrashed.
  14. No doubt there's more than a few of us that would be mesmerized by such a feat of engineering. :-D I'm all for being different but not if its obviously going to hairlip appearance and gain a total of 0 performance.
  15. Depending on the brand but a lot of the oil bottles have a mixing chart on back.
  16. 12 paddle tires will feel like your dragging a school bus behind you. Somebody on here has a pair of 8 paddles and a big motor... wishing and hoping someone will offer up a trade.
  17. It could be a good way to test just how qualified your hook ups are. :-D
  18. A streamer butt spandex bandit.... I just puked a lil bit... =((
  19. Cool! I'll give him a call Monday. Unless it rains out the dirt track tomorrow. Thank ya.
  20. It was actually in direct sunlight. I guess the phone autofocus'd... both plugs looked fine. It was running great too. Started getting dark and pulled up to my trailer...as it was idling I heard a slight ticking noise. Figured it'd be better to investigate it than grenade it. But aside from the indentions on top, everything bearing-wise feels and looks fine.
  21. Here's the head. The top of the left piston has similar pecks around it. Puzzling....
  22. I would say they're a bit much for stock... try some 8 paddle or maybe 4SNOW's.
  23. I'm 4-4 1/2 hours south of St Louis. 45 minutes west of Memphis. I was hoping there was somebody fairly close but I understand that's asking a lot in this geographical area. :-D I'll send it to a sponser if I need to.
  24. Maybe dent is too strong a word... something really tiny went through and left small indentions/pecks... I want to have the bottom end tolerances checked. For exactly what sstaton said. I mean the bearings feel good but I doubt I would feel a few thousandths of extra play. :-)
  25. Are there any? My motor developed a slight ticking noise in the left bottom end. I have the top end apart and bearings look fine. What I can see in the bottom looks good. The left side of the head and top of that piston have some dents around the edge... Assumed a reed broke and sucked through but they're intact and look perfect. I'd like to have everything checked out by someone with the proper instruments and competence. :-D
