I swapped from pro circuit platinums to 916s. Best move I could make. The low/mid is around the same but the top end pull is 10x better with the 916s. I love these pipes.

Should be pretty obvious if it is bent. Look for cracked paint around weld areas, where tubes come together, and near factory bends. Another obvious sign is if good straight parts don't easily fit or bolt holes don't line up. Just inspect the frame and use common sense. There is a good chance that it is tweaked, and they do not straighten easy.

C'mon guys! This thing is rare! Didn't you see in the list of mods that it has a tail light, a kick starter, and it's liquid cooled?! Must be special edition or something. It didn't say in the ad but I think this may even be a two-stroke model, not sure.

The case oil is for the transmission only, it is seperated and sealed off from the combustion chamber/cylinder/crank area. So a leaking head gasket wouldnt show in the case oil.

Have you pulled the plugs and visually checked for spark? disassambled the carbs and completely cleaned them? It doesnt take alot to clog up pilot and main jets

Rich-in, Lean-out. May want to start around 1 to 1.5 turns out and get it to idle by tweaking the air screw and idle screws back and forth until you find a good idle and good throttle response out of the hole. I had pc pipes and mine had good throttle response at 1 turn out, but everyones bike is different. Check your pilots and make sure they are absolutely clean. If they are patially clogged it will have a high lean idle.

That 06 is pristine, its all black (how can you go wrong there?), and you know you aren't going to be breaking off every other rusted bolt. Hands down go with the 06, I bought a 99 parts bike and the carrier bolts were rusted and seized, broke those. Peg bolts rusted and seized, broke those. grab bar bolts were rusted and seized, broke those. Not fun.

^^^ For sure. & 32.5 pilots sound HUGE. My 30s are almost too rich in the summer with all the same mods. good in winter though...

Look for some used fmf fattys, toomey t5s, or dmc 916s. Dont bother buying a jet kit, just buy the jets you need from a local shop or dealer.
