I should be able to get started stripping the frame on tuesday or so. That way ill be ready to wipe her down and start spraying not long there after. I got access to a sand blaster so hubs and whatnot should be a breeze to clean up.

  12. Well several months ago my 2000 banshee had an air leak on the pto side crank seal and without knowing this it apparantly got worse on the trails one day and while trying to limp it home she overheated and cooked the RH cylinder, bent the connecting rod and so on so forth the story goes. I've been buying parts from folks here and there over the past few weeks, btw thanks to everyone I have bought from you have all been a pleasure to deal with. Anyhow, I decided yesterday that if I am going to do this I am going to do it right and so I am stripping the frame today and I am going to jump upon the monster energy band wagon. I've already looked into paints, made my decisions and am going to try this one out. It will be a big change from the old silver frame covered with a rattle can cover up. To compliment the new paint scheme I am also pulling the trigger on building a stock cylinder 4mil stroker that will give me enough power to play. I will post pictures along the way! Thanks to all for reading.
  13. Text sent on cylinders and carbs with filters
  14. I think hes talkin about line boring. Not too familiar with it. Does it offer any true benefit?
  15. Defenitly lots of that stuff in the for sale section. Take some time and loom through. Guys here price reasonably
  16. Thanks guys. Im really happy with all this information. I know when I pull the trigger on all this stuff I can be confident in my build
  17. Excellent, sounds like I am on the right track. Thanks guys! If anyone else wants to chime in with advice it will be very welcome.
  18. Absolutely sheerider, defenitly suspension will be a factor but I can handle that part. I just was curious as to what I would need engine wise to support such a thing. I forgot to mention I currently have a set of Toomey T5's. Good enough pipes? Or would I need to go to someone like Shearer or CPI?
  19. Hey guys. I am new to anything outside of a stock stroke banshee. I've looked into and read about many projects and I am contemplating starting my own. Currently I am looking at HJR's 4mil stock cylinder kit. Says comes with all you need, just send your cylinders in for porting, bolt it all on and go. Question number one is do I need to have my case trenched for this? Secondly and perhaps the most important question is what supporting mods do I need to run a 4 mil setup with the dune/play port? Id like to do alot of open field riding and the occasional friendly drag race. Currently for the build I would have vforce 3 reeds, billet intakes (currently for stock carbs) and a cool head. What domes should I use for pump fuel at just about 1,500ft elevation? All in all im asking what would I need to run and support 70+HP?
  20. I gotta text today exactly what ur lookin for. Just hit him up 740-630-7018. Tell him u want em. He told me $80. Seems cheap enough
  21. I got stock airbox laying around. IDK about the lid, grommets were removed for cooling bottle. Pretty sure it still has intake boots still on it. $15 + shipping. If I can find the lid I'll throw it in for $5
