No sir, this site only. I just put this one together not long ago. Buddy wanted the top end so I sold it to him and rather than sink more money into her I was thinking I'd just part her out. I have local interest and they guy sent a deposit said he'd be here monday. If hes not here monday I will honor all accepted offers and start the part out.

Alright well then this is going to happen - Its hard to get decent money for a banshee here in my area and I dont want to go putting more money into this bike to get a new top end to put it back together and run it. I am going to take more pictures of the bike closer up and I will be making a new thread this evening I will title "2000 Banshee Full Part Out". Id do $100 for plastics, 60 on carbs and 40 on seat - total 200 + shipping. Now the white plastics are scratched a bit. Nothing too major but normal wear and front fenders have one small stich about 4 inches long

Im feeling out possibilities in the profits of parting out this 2000 banshee I have. No title for frame. Will give bill of sale. Make offers. I may decide not to put this one back together. Has paul turner high rev pipes. Old style wiring harness and oem stator on adjustable timing plate. Cylinders and pistons would be spoken for but I may have another set I can sell. Crank is trued and welded. Stock stroke. May already be spoken for as well. Anyhow, make offers. If its worth it I may strip this one down. I live in central va about an hour or so north of richmond. Im completely new to these shocks, bough em second hand and they look great - almost like brand new. The ressies on them say "nitrogen filled" and they are the float x models and are stock banshee length shocks. Long story short I put them on my bike today and compared to the stock shee shocks they sit REALLY LOW. The frame is probably about 6 - 8 inches off the ground with no engine in it. Then when I jump up and down on my bikes pegs I bet its only 2 - 3 inches from the ground tho it appears the shocks are rebounding fine. Is this normal? Is there anyway I can tune these shocks to have a little higher ride height possibly? Any information at all would be appreciated! Thanks!

If its burning gear oil thats probably also where the smoke and smell is coming from bud. If you have gear oil leaking into the crankcase it is being pushed thru the transfer ports and burned. Ur plug may show it to confirm this. Anyhow is thats ur issue, here comes the nightmare lol ur gonna have to pull the engine and split the crankcase
