All in personal prefference, if he wants a "middle man" then so be it. I didn't sugar coat anything, I stated what I could do for him, how we could do the build and if that makes him happy then so be it. I hear where ur coming from about tracers and theives of other folks port work but again ur barking up the wrong tree with me. If I wanted to get.my hands on someone elses work well that's easy enough just like in this situation - but copying someone else's design is going to get me nowhere - now coming up with something completely on my own and being different? That'd be quite nice to stand behind. I also know what ur saying about going directly to a site sponser and you would be right, but if it doesn't fit his budget or if he just would rather do this a bit more local - thats his decision. In the end we are all different and will do different things. Posting a "warning" to a situation that hasn't even had an issue yet just seems a little premature for now. Something goes wrong then you get to say "I told you so", until then I'm up for this no problem. I'm confident enough in my work to stand behind what I do.

I'm not trying to copy anyone's port work so no need to even go down that road. Im sure builders here have enough "tracers" to their templates as it is and from a builders standpoint, nothing ventured nothing gained. Copying someone elses work would do no good in the quest for what id be wanting to achieve. Ever willing to learn and with a good understanding of two stoke engine operation and theory, stooping to the level of tracing someone elseelse's work is outside of my moral. I wouldn't want someone doing the same to me so with that respect whether u will believe what I say or not, u won't find me with copys or templates of a builders port work - just sayin. I have no dyno results to stand behind what I do with my port templates. I based a "trail port" of my own by that of a race logic template a budy of mine has used.in the past as.well as i have. A degree tool should show the differences between mine and theirs so that's out as well. Anyways I just sugguested I be the one to go through the hassel of shipping and recieving his parts, we use a reputable site sponser, get reputable results and a solid build. He sends me one piece, I send him one piece back - easy bolt in installation and he's done - life is just a little simpler that way. My ability to "assemble" these engines since I'm not a "builder" will speak for its own. A little criticism won't hurt me, if my customer is happy in the end, I will be too. Plus its not like he'll be shipping it halfway accross the country, if he really wanted to come find me it wouldn't take but a few hours driving. Bottom line, I'm here to help. Thats all I offered most of all.

Yeah I offered to build it for him. Telling up front that I would use a site sponser for the port/head work. Im not a sponser or a labeled "builder" but offered through a pm to avoid being blasted lol. Anyhow im up for it. I know my way around these engines like the back of my hand. in the future im looking to make up some of my own dyno tested port maps, buy a new boring bar and vertical laythe. Start going into these builds much deeper. These machines will also help out the small engine repair shop we own and operate

Im leaving for vaca on the 12th but i will try to def make it to slades or greenes on the 5 or 6th. And yeah its gonna be like a play/drag biken. I always wanted to do a cub. A 10 mil cub might be sweet. Sounds fun lol thanks for the input guys. If I start that one up I will let yall know lol

After completing my green/black banshee 4 mil stock cyld build i was very impressed and satisfied. Now not like i NEED another project lol but building that one was alot of fun and kept me busy. I have another rolling chassis and would be interested in perhaps turning it into a project. Since I have done the 4 mil stock cyld...whats the next step? I havnt dyno'd it yet so im not sure what kinda power im putting out but I would be looking towards something with 100hp or so on pump fuel? Possibly race fuel instead? Im just looking for some ideas lol what you guys got?

start off with needle on middle clip, 30 pilots (vf4's like a larger pilot than ussual) and start with 320 mains. That should get you going. Id count on having 320, 310, and 300 mains. Naturally you're going to have to play with things and see what your setup likes.

FAST ftw!! I just got mine and in my 4mil aggresive dune port setup - amazing! no slippage whatsoever. staggered springs 3 stock 3 heavy, pulls great and is nice on the hand. all 6 heavy springs started to bend my clutch actuator arm.

I got one looks like brushed aluminum or possibly chrome. Should polish out nicely. $15 shipped with lever
