I couldnt wait lol I bought a small slip roll today. I am planning on also trying to build a tuned drag pipe for possibly a trx450 or yfz450. We will see lol I just want to play with my pipe designs and see if I can actually roll cones. It will be something that peaks my interest and I will have fun doing it.
I've thought about those cam. If these turn out well enough and dyno results turn out nicely then I juuusssst may invest in those tools and make a few more . Like I said, I'm excited, I've wanted to do this for a while and this is the closest I've been
spend $20 @ walmart, get you some cool looking chrome fog lights, bolt em on and ride. Dont worry about hooking em up if u dont run lights, just tuck the wires under and zip em! They're small and look good enough other than that - chop em off.
We have a miscommunication issue somewhere lol - I did this first example for a yamaha tri-z with the original tri-z 250 engine as the power platform. Thats the cylinder you see in the image at the top. I made another thread where I was mocking up my own banshee OOF pipes, those should be into a steel form here soon! I put the order in for the cones to be rolled and got some flanges and whatnot so hopefully I will be making the real deals here soon!
All I have right now is one of each item left. Brand new still in packaging. I can get more and will sell these to HQ members for these prices listed unless manufacturing changes come up.
1 Pro Design Power Shifter Short Version -- $69 shipped
1 Pro Design EZ Drain -- $35 shipped
Paypal info is [email protected] Please send as a gift or cover fees. Thanks for looking!
Thanks to all who've stopped in to check em out! Im excited I got some quotes on some rolled cones since I do not currently have the equipment, the prices are defenitly good so I placed the order and will hopefully be fabbing up some steel versions of these here in the next two or three weeks! I cant wait
Will do, the frame is still stock right now, we may lighten it a little bit. we'll see how things turn out. I will gather some pics later on and start a build thread on the Tri Z. The blasters build is already viewable on our website. www.younggunsracing.com under the "projects" section. I will be adding more pics to that soon since I already got another frame and have cleaned it up a bit
More air in the right setup is more hp. Simple as that. I love pwks, they respond really well and are super easy to jet and tune. I run 35 pwks on my stock cyld 4 mil, its just my prefference but I will never run a stock carb again if I can help it lol
And if you havnt cosidered it toss those off the shelf domes up for sale and have a builder cut you some custom domes. You'll get a little more out of it than u will with standards
lol none started yet. I will eventually, right now as a shop our first "official" drag project is a little blaster. We decided to go with the underdog and not to mention blasters are fairly cost effective.
Morning bump! List is up to date, whatevers still for sale still has a price tag. Make me some offers, Id like to unload all of this stuff and the worst I can say is no.
X2 as a new dealer for them they have been nothing but above and beyond for me! Ive seen my fair share of their work and its defenitly high quality and they are super easy to talk to. Whatever u need from them don't hesitate, they will get you what you want inside a fair price range
A friend of mine is looking for a good used set of aftermarket a arms for his yamaha warrior. Let me know what u have please! Pm me with anything u got. Thanks!
software for the layout, a program called "cone" for the templates and with a little math from Gordon Blair's book on 2 strokes and expansion chambers I tweek what the software gives me as a result and then i build my template. guessing might make things look good but there will be no initial performance gain
