I picked up a billet key fob on the Internet and it was delivered as described....what was left out was the fact that you have to trim the key to have it fit in the fob.
I have a 2000 and a 1989. The 89 has the correct sized key that doesn't require trimming and the 2000 key had to be trimmed.
Try the comp tester again. Hold the throttle wide open and get on the bike. Kick the shit out of it at least until the needle stops moving.
My tester would stop at 140 if I kicked on it while I stood beside the bike. I got another 15-20 psi while sitting on it and kicking it like a son of a bitch.
Try using a B8ES plug.
19's on pump gas with 150 comp...u need to bump those domes up to 20-21.
The gap on the pickup might be too far as well. Try .017 on the gap to close it up.

I have a set of 11" and 13.5" tie rods.
The 11" set isn't in that great of shape cosmetically but they are straight and threads are good.
The 13.5" set is in great shape.

Flip the motor and split the cases from the bottom. Takes 30 minutes If the motor is out of the frame. Since the cases will be split, replace all the seals. 30-45 dollars is a good way to make it last.
And reseal it with 1211 or yamabond.
