  1. I have a set of 22 cc domes from my cool head. 25 plus shipping.
  2. Great shape. Gaskets are still good and pedals are in great shape. Reeds have been checked by a site sponsor and have been given his seal of approval. 95.00 shipped
  3. I recall that Toomey recommends at least 3 inches from bell to filter. Straight pods on the bells work just fine.
  4. Look for the grooves in the case halves and line your seal up with that. Also make sure the side with the spring is facing out. That should make that thing seal up. Clean off the collar that sides in there.
  5. Gentlemen, I found the problem. The idle circuit on one of the carbs is not working correctly. It would chase an idle then die. No matter how much you adjusted it, the carb wouldn't act right until the needle came on. Kevin at hjr had me drop the bike off and he helped me diagnose the problem. Great guy to deal with and is willing to do whatever it takes to make his customers happy.
  6. If you have pwk's and the idle screw is touching the side of your slide, you definitely have problems. If you unscrew the cap, there is a flange that the screw pushes up on. It is part of the slide but not the interal part. After being informed in the plastic versus metal, I just made some out of stainless steel and called it a day. Cost me less than 2 bucks for them.
  7. Got a rear bumper and hoses. The hoses also have the inline cooler.
  8. No tors on them carbs. The idle screw has already need drilled.
  9. 1000 ft.
  10. I just made my own...
  11. I have 48, 50 and 52 pilots avail.
  12. All of the internal parts of the carbs have been replaced with genuine parts. Honestly I think the problem is with the idle screws. What vacuum should the carbs pull once they are synced?
  13. I will buy the metal ones and see if i can get it to idle better. It might have been that it just wouldn't raise the slides enough to smooth it out.
  14. The plastic ones are junk. What a shitty design. I like the billet idea
  15. Pwk 35's
  16. My 421 cub is a stock cast with 20cc domes on vp110 @ 32:1. Elevation is 1000 ft Issue 1. Does it really matter if you use the brass idle screw versus the plastic. I think my slides are chromed but does it really matter? Pilot jet is a 48 Main is a 158 Needle cel middle clip. Air screw is 1.5 turns out Issue 2: Carb are synced with the tool and I am pulling a vacuum of 8 on both carbs. Shit just doesn't want to idle worth a shit. Engine has no air leaks Suggestions?
  17. 20:1 will require more oil per gallon. The price of good oil will definitely run up your price per gallon to run and yield the same results as 32:1.
  18. Will need to be painted.
  19. 30.00 shipped No end. Shipping usps is 12.00 due to length and weight with tracking.
  20. Give me your zip and i will calculate the cheapest method
  21. I used the same tool and broke a stud with it. Some will break and others will not.
