  1. Slide hammer with two small claws. If u don't have that, an old flat head screw driver, big Azz hammer.
  2. They definitely still make yamabond.
  3. Get yourself a new stator cover gasket while you are buying parts. That thing look like its seen better days.
  4. It's really easier than you would think. Why spend a couple hundred dollars to have it rebuilt when you can use that money for go fast parts.
  5. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=140912
  6. All depends on your definition of "difficult". It's so easy a caveman can do it. the leakdown test will let you know if it wasn't sealed correctly.
  7. Good luck. Been there done that. Cascade has then for 29.99. Cheapest I've seen so far.
  8. I use wiseco in my atv's and wsm platinum in my jet ski's. both are forged. I never buy cast pistons.
  9. The tool is 12.99 shipped on egay.
  10. I had to go look at mine. My bad. Should I send u a card to express my apology?
  11. You beat me to it cam.
  12. When u cut a neutral down, you have to weld up the shift star. Not the actual star to the drum itself. Just the actual cutout of the star.
  13. Maybe you don't weld them but I have seen it with my own eyes. Wcr "let the bashing begin" does weld shift stars.
  14. Shift star*
  15. Is the shift sat welded to the drum or can u remove it?
  16. The orange wire in the coil is the +. Check that and then check your grounds. If I recall, there is only one actual ground wire on the frame and the rest is grounded via nuts and bolts from engine to frame and stator to engine.
  17. Are the pistons in backwards? Are u sure u have spark?
  18. I've seen the wang webs (solid black webs) in photos on numerous builders websites. You need to just focus on the rods. If its bronze colored...ask question! If its not....ask questions! If its a hotrods, no questions to ask!
  19. And add an impact wrench to the list.
  20. Already have first dibs.
  21. Not every transaction goes as smooth as planned. Some things just happen. The take away from this should be that you learned a lot about your bike and can repair any and all issues yourself.
  22. Have you tested the stator and coil with a meter yet?
