  3. What the hell would you want my last name for you want to take me on a date or something? Get over it dude, your wrong! Seems your the one back peddling...
  4. Chariot makes nice parts, and are in Dryden... I will always support a MI. company... Period...
  5. I'm talking top fuel cars, ALL mechanical injection w/ superchargers... ya know the cars that go 300+mph and run quater mile times of 3 and 4 secs and have 10,000+ HP.... Anyone can throw a hogan intake and a speed pro on a car and run it,,, it's easy.... Kinsler injection is not......
  6. LOL tricked you are SOOOOO right! the banshee didn't even kiss my wallet first!
  7. No real world experience? i'm an ASE and state of Mich. certified master automotive and motorcycle mechanic... i have been doing this for a living for 18 years... I have owned my shop (Reliable Auto Repair of Wayne) for 5 years. I have spent 100's of hours dyno tuning (Land & Sea 24" water brake) race cars and trucks.... Nascar only runs a single carb... but drag guys who want to go fast use Kinsler mechanical fuel injection, and again 1 venturi per cyl. I have built identical cars except one had a 1050cfm Dominator, and one had Kinsler FI, both were tuned perfect 12.5/1 AF ratio, not a guess either the $1000.00 wideband O2 doesn't lie.... The Kinsler car was faster.... I have owned many vintage big bore exotic 2 stroke MX bikes (Maico's, Husky's, Bultaco's Ossa's, CZ's, nothing less than 400cc and have done many jet changes... to me the single carb on a twin is the easy way out, and anyone that knows me, knows i like to do things the hard way... it's just my personality.... LOL ' '
  8. A banshee is essentially 2 engines... Why would you want 1 carb feeding 2 engines?.... IMO they run better w/ duals and are more responsive.. May not make any more or less power but they are WAY crisper... Look at most if not all multiple cyl race bikes (not just banshees), they have 1 venturi per cyl...
  9. Junk, stick with duals. The only reason you would need that, is if your inept at tuning..
  10. try unplugging all the TORS stuff... If that doesn't work, chances are your looking at a new stator... Had this same prob. on a customers bike, swapped out stator and it was all good....
  11. I'm not much of a winter person lol, i just sold my ZR800, everytime i went riding I would come home sick.. I have a camper at The Oaks campground in Munith, just east of Jackson.. I ride there alot in the summer, I also go to Bull Gap, usually camp at Mack Lake, and ride out from there, I like the McKinley loop and the Luzurne loop... But as far as hookin up and going riding, I'm down as long as it's warm! LOL Just waiting on my crank, and i'll have my bike ready for summer..
  12. Yes, i worked for him in 02 for a short amount of time... Lidio is smart as hell, but hard to deal with! LOL I ended up leaving there right after we finished Bill Miller's car (Pegasus car, red GT) and went to work for Greg at Maximum Performance (21mile & Van Dyke).. Now I have my own shop doing repair, @ Mich. Ave. & Venoy in the city of Wayne.
  13. Hell yeah someone should get on making oversized billet bowls for the stockers! I need a set!!!!!
  14. Have a set of used cylinders 65.25mm bore .050" over w/pistons,rings,bearings,clips. These cyls have NOT been ported. These were taken off my running bike this morning $200 obo. Coolhead domes 22cc $35 obo Stock crankshaft not welded, came out of my running bike this morning. $175 obo My name is Mike you can reach me @586-738-7552, i can't get pics to upload, i can txt pics on request.
  15. Just got back form Tyson. he hooked it up, can't wait to ride my new 4mill with a cut trans!
  16. R-50
  17. how is it with the 290's? Will it hit the powerband when it's rich? The main function of needle height is to richen up or lean out the transition from 1/4 throttle to WOT... Not sure needles are your problem, more times than not you want them in the middle....What gearing are you running?
  18. i don't understand the reasoning for using a resistor plug on an off-road vehicle.. Isn't it to stop radio noise inerference? Also with a "resistor" doesn't it reduce spark energy? The thing i have found running B8EGV's if your jetting isn't spot on, you'll foul plugs.. But in a properly tuned motor they last twice as long as an ES plug..
  19. This just gives you an excuse to buy the Billet clutch cover from Mattoon Machine, that piece is SWEET! When mine breaks thats what i will get!
  20. Really?! I'm not being a smart ass either.... Rubbing on the outside? or on the inside where the blades are? if it's on the inboard side, won't that damage the impeller blades?
  21. @Tricked, most people don't know that NGK heat range #'s go backwards.. i.e 9 is colder than 7.. I know this from dealing with drag cars and nitrous/supercharging. I worked for Lidio at Alternative Performance, and worked for Greg at Maximum Performance Racing, doing the Mustang thing, back in the day.. Now I hate cars (because I have worked on sooooo many of them) and LOVE Banshees, they are so much less of a headache! LOL
  22. I get them at O'Reilly Auto Parts... I have a wholesale acct. with them, I get a box of 10 for $50.00.. I have been running these plugs since my Maico days, I had a PVL ign. and it required these fine-wire precious metal plugs.. I also run them in my Quadzilla.
  23. LOL junky! yeah right!
  24. Your drive gear broke.. The stock ones are plastic, get the Mull Engineering billet one... you need to take the clutch cover off to do the repair... You need water pump seal, clutch cover gasket, water pump cover gasket, trans fluid, coolant, water pump bearing, billet impeller drive gear, and if the impeller has been rubbing it is more than likely trashed so you need that too.
